15/8/2012 10:45 | Has anyone else noticed the very jittery moves in prices on level 2 - not much volume as yet, but could be a big order being worked. Could see a big movement in price???? | buffaloman
15/8/2012 09:11 | "good game" was Bruce Forsythe I think?? Anyway, share price maybe a bit more perky this morning?? | ![]() rathlindri

14/8/2012 19:23 | Despite the afternoons rise, my day indicators are all still negative. As per my suggestion in post 221, AVN did retrace to the 345 area and has now added the 5 to 7% that I also suggested. My charts now 'predict' (though not as strongly as they did on 10 August) a second retracement that drops AVN towards, if not below 340. The MACD, however, has, with the afternoons rise, started to move back towards the zero line so it's not all bad. But it too will need confirmation. There is the potential for a new pennant to develop with an end 'cross over point' at the end of the month /start of next but I'll see if today's late rally continues tomorrow before I give further credence to this. All IMHO, of course. | johncsimpson
14/8/2012 18:40 | Oh another competition . . . My guess is Alan Partridge | johncsimpson
14/8/2012 14:38 | It would be good to see the share price doing the talking Nightspot :-) Back in early July we had the rush from around 350p to high of 445p and now we have slipped back to around 360p ish and we now know that Hylas 2 is up in orbit and is as far as we know fully operational. | ![]() yorgi
14/8/2012 13:46 | My 'day indicators' are all now negative again as they were for the first four days of last week. It's usually an indication of a better buying price to come but they'll need to remain negative for a little longer to confirm this. | johncsimpson
14/8/2012 13:00 | Yorgi, I too expected more Pzazz toasting (or milking?) the occasion, but maybe they are saving up some meaty numbers to serve up when all systems are go. Not that much longer to find out now. I have been adding down here to my already overweight position. | ![]() nightspot
14/8/2012 12:59 | Massive director buys last year around 335p. So yes, good time to accumulate.dyor | ![]() aishah
14/8/2012 12:56 | They will probably wait until all the testing is finished before issuing an RNS. Hopefully soon to be followed by a number of new contract reports. | ![]() sg31
14/8/2012 12:49 | If they are keeping the website updated on progress then I guess there is no need to RNS the information. At least operation seems to be going to plan which is very good news. | ![]() yorgi
14/8/2012 12:36 | New progress report although the date hasn't changed from 13/08/12:- "The solar arrays and antennae have now successfully deployed, and the payload has been switched on" | garymott
14/8/2012 12:13 | A great opp to add then. | ![]() restassured
14/8/2012 12:12 | Thanks for keeping us updated Nightspot :-) I have to say I expected a RNS by now giving a bit more detail than the RNS released on the 3rd. | ![]() yorgi
14/8/2012 12:12 | Good stuff. | ![]() restassured
14/8/2012 12:09 | Another update - Payload now switched on - also with yesterday's date: The solar arrays and antennae have now successfully deployed, and the payload has been switched on. 13/08/12 I guess this is the news we thought they might RNS. | ![]() nightspot
14/8/2012 12:08 | Will they do the trick John :-) ???? | ![]() yorgi
14/8/2012 11:57 | Starting to look like Scotty has put some Dylithiam Crystals into the warp drive engines Capt'n. John | ![]() 2350220
14/8/2012 10:48 | Good time to accumulate. | ![]() restassured
14/8/2012 10:39 | Volume very low.......waiting for Hylas 2 update ! | ![]() yorgi
14/8/2012 08:46 | It now looks unlikely that there will be an actual RNS re 'payload switch on' as many thought (AVN have done this via their website) so news of contract wins are what are needed to move the price forwards. There is now a good chance that AVN will (as Rogk suggests above) consolidate at this level (355ish) but there is more than a possibility it will retrace for a second time to the 340ish area (see post 221). If it does this in the next day or two then a further fall is likely i.e. it needs to hold at this level and not fall to 340ish to avoid this. All IMO, of course and based on my charts. AVN stated there would be a 3 month testing period so I don't expect too much too soon and I remain out. | johncsimpson
13/8/2012 17:34 | Revenues and cashflow. That's what it's all about now. It's fun talking about it and hypothesizing before the sats go up, but now they're up there, they've got to start delivering the promised revenues. | ![]() jeffian |
