16/3/2012 10:05 | Decided to go long here and now. Misread the chart 1st time round. We have in fact support at 240p ish and share price is bouncing off this. And we have all the signs of a basing pattern on the chart. | ![]() mechanical trader

16/3/2012 00:45 | When AVN does have its day, share price could jump 50p or a £1 in a day so you have to be init to win it at these levels imo you cannot judge the bottom but you can guess its close... look at all the positive news and look at that chart now look at the chart for the AIM market this year.... | divinausa1
15/3/2012 23:55 | yeh divina I agree.. this will have its day questions.. btw i'm long here.. cant afford any shares right now else i'd be a buyer too aroudn 230p.. as investment its priced perfectly for new holders.. can see serious value.. 100% upside atleast for half a year hold.. i was once starry eyed and though it would be £10 after first successful launch.. but anyway let seller clear off and should see a nice rise... i'm keeping eyes on it firmly.. risk rewards about right 105 downside vs 100% rise.. 175p is seriously unrealistic imho.. | rajaster
15/3/2012 23:04 | rajaster - 15 Mar'12 - 12:38 - 8022 of 8029 everyone wants quick hot money.. nothing turns around that fast... being played off back of technicals.. so worth a note.. theres long term support at around 220.. worst case 200.. expect it to be snapped up major by that time.. ------------------ with big contract wins and big director buys AVN will have its day many AIM stocks have had a good start to the year, yet to happen here maybe seller holding it back.... | divinausa1
15/3/2012 20:29 | I'm sure that is not helping Geraldus.....March is never a great month. | ![]() yorgi
15/3/2012 20:01 | End of tax year coming up so some bods are cleaning up their portfolios, hopefully normal service will be resumed. | ![]() geraldus
15/3/2012 14:52 | back marker go back a little and you will find the share price was similar about 6 months before hylas 1 launch.. should see it move closer to the time.. although i dont have a target as theres been alot of speculation on the profitibility to date. | rajaster
15/3/2012 14:21 | I sincerely hope that Hylas-2 lifts off better than the AVN share price is trying and failing to do ! I'm beginning to wonder if it's really a gold miner in disguise. I think that all round the market there are forced sellers who are having to raise cash and those with cash are still waiting patiently on the sidelines for even better prices. it doesn't require much selling for the MMs to drop their bids and open the spreads, but it does require some buying for prices to move forwards. value will out, and when it does it may happen quickly. provided you can hang on for the long term you just need to suck your cheeks. but if you're leveraged you'd just better hope you don't get tripped out by a (possibly manoeuvred) sharp temporary down-spike. we're past the point where stop=losses are useful. | ![]() backmarker

15/3/2012 12:44 | Have Cenkos any idea when the big seller will be done?! | undertaker
15/3/2012 12:43 | We have thought there was support at higher levels than this and it has not held, it seemed 300p ish was the bottom for some time and now here we are sub 250p :-( | ![]() yorgi

15/3/2012 10:19 | Its firmly on my radar....especially at this price. Might grab 500 quids worth ;-) Surely the long term prospects are good....very good i'd say! However, I hear some mumbling in the ranks on this board?? Why the unease gentlemen?.....and ladies of course. | ![]() npp62

15/3/2012 08:53 | EK closed is short some months ago, they have drifted lower since, have gone long again, they are far to low in most analysts opinions, hopefully a rerating is due shortly | ![]() malcolmmm |
