Embarrased to say i get RHPS and can tell you he mentioned two brokers targets at £9 and £20 and RHPS target is £15. It's been in RHPS for ages so many readers will already hold so not sure how big the jump will be but it was a good write up - made me feel better!

It is a good write up, so would expect this to jump on Monday. The question will be whether or not it can hold on to its gains. So far, everytime the company has released news it has risen to fall back. Did anyone also notice that 2012E and 2013E seem to be significantly lower than a year ago?

Get your hand in your pocket and subscribe to it. When you've made enough from the tips you can rename yourself BMW.

It is a good write up though.

Never looked at it like that yorgi but you're right. Having been an investor for twenty odd years, I'm now retired and look at profits in a totally different way. It was about 3 years ago that my then accountant when explaining the virtues of compound interest, pointed out that buy then sell for a 15% profit five times and you double your money.

It does I'm quite sure Waterloo :-)

If it were not for day traders or any other traders be it T10, T20 or someone who just buys for 10% profit however long it takes. They help make a market, make shares available for long term investors to buy and take off someones hands their shares when they want the cash. Also I'm quite sure they help keep the cost of trading down overall as well were it not for them the cost of buying and selling a shares would be a lot higher.

Providing the revenues are shown to be flowing into AVN as we expect then the share price will rise from here day traders shorters whatever but the market needs to see the proof of it now that's for sure.

waterloo01 like you just making a point. As i said yer pays yer money and takes your choice with RHPS and there's nothing wrong with being a day trader. They also get a lot of bad press . . . But you're entitled to your point of view.

Not all Waterloo I'm quite sure....Re "but all it does is attract day traders."

I'm talking about RHPS. Re spikes on tips, just shows how little research some 'punters' do. It's tipped so buy? Happy for him to tip AVN but all it does is attract day traders.

Or you can lose a great deal on 'tips' like Noventa/Vatukouala/Chaarat/Sociago to name but a few. Bad press? He deserves it. I would trust his tips about 3 ft (how far I might be able to throw him).

No problem jeffian - I'm fine with what you said - just wanted to put the other side of the coin because I do feel he gets a lot of bad press. I trade rather than invest mostly using charting but if you're canny you can make a lot by following his tips so long as you're not too greedy.

john,
I'm happy to stand corrected. It was a facetious remark based solely on their comments reproduced here about AVN (and some slight experience of Rivington Street Holdings). I don't follow RHPS and sorry if I rubbed you up the wrong way.

jeffian 7796 - to answer your question: Noventa, Global Brands, Vatukouala, Firestone, Pure Circle, Manx Financial come to mind . . .

You pays yer money and takes your choice with Mr Bulford but I feel the man is much maligned - I follow/listen to him a lot. But I agree with the cashflow comments re AVN.

Agreed absolutely, sg31, but before Hylas1 it was all speculation whereas now each set of results will give a picture of how fast revenues are actually growing and give a firmer basis for cashflow projections on Hylas2 & 3. I do foresee some excitement in the run-up to July launch but accept that cashflow is the key to real long-term growth.

There was plenty of excitement before Hylas 1 was launched. I'm not so sure it will be the same with Hylas 2. It might be that we will need to see money flowing into the business before it rerates to a sensible level.
This is still a long term investment.

When isn't it from RHPS?!

FDI down 15% after Mr Bulford's sell recommendation.

I too have been adding this past week. Hylas 2, if memory serves me right, is scheduled for a July launch. Hopefully there will be progress with the share price over the next few months.

Decided it was time for a top up - have been watching patiently and trying to guage sentiment - now seems a reasonable opportunity with newsflow expected around Hylas 2 over the next few months.

"Not performing so well are AVANTI COMMUNICATIONS (AVN) and FIRESTONE DIAMONDS (FDI). I spoke to Avanti's Chief Executive David Williams last Friday and have prepared a full update for the March edition of RHPS which will be with you on Friday evening (it's good news by the way)."
