17/2/2011 13:26 | Seems to be more buys than sells on ADVFN, how accurate is this? | pojscott
17/2/2011 13:02 | Could this be a Director drip selling into the market - there were many sells in December I seem to remember by several Directors but that was at £7!! If its the guy testing the satellite for commercial services we are all in the sh*t! With current newsflow and broker forecasts way beyond £6 there should be a good deal more buying. Very puzzling as well as frustrating!!! | leluot2
17/2/2011 11:07 | Frustrating is an understatement! | pojscott
17/2/2011 10:26 | I agree with rogash - a persistent seller is top contender for the reason why AVN is dropping on cracking results and newsflow. When the seller is gone the share price will have a chance. The brave can try and trade; the rest of us can just wait. | meljohn
17/2/2011 10:06 | This share is becoming very frustrating in deed!!!!! I keep thinking should I average down or have ALL the analysts got this wrong? | greyseal
17/2/2011 09:25 | Not got level 2, but seems to me we have a seller into strength, and the sooner he clears the better. | rogash
17/2/2011 07:56 | "The majority of City analysts covering the stock are extremely upbeat about Avanti's prospects.Of the five analysts monitored by Bloomberg, one has a "sell" rating, but the four analysts with "buy" ratings on the shares have an average price target of £16.74, more than 170pc higher than the current share price." | restassured
17/2/2011 07:38 | Today Telegraph's Questor says buy....... | restassured
16/2/2011 22:57 | Good to see you here, gg - are you recycling profits here? Or are you returning to your First love of other Derivative Products? ;o) SM | strollingmolby
16/2/2011 22:21 | I don't think we are Jimelson but the market would appear to support your opinion | yorgi
16/2/2011 22:18 | Yes...people expecting too much to soon for the share price £6 aint the end of the world...neither would be £5.50 | jimelson
16/2/2011 16:10 | Been in this since 1.86, the secret here is not to bother looking at it. Leaveit and come back in another 6 - 12 months. gg | greengiant
16/2/2011 16:00 | 16 February 2011 Sun unleashes huge solar flare The eruption is a so-called X-flare, the strongest type; such flares can affect communications on Earth. Nasa's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) spacecraft recorded an intense flash of extreme ultraviolet radiation emanating from a sunspot. The British Geological Survey (BGS) has issued a geomagnetic storm warning, and says observers might be able to see aurorae from the northern UK. The monster flare was recorded at 0156 GMT on 15 February and directed at the Earth. Preliminary data from the Stereo-B and Soho spacecraft suggest that the explosion produced a fast but not particularly bright coronal mass ejection (CME) - a burst of charged particles released into space. The unpredictable eruptions on the Sun can interfere with modern technology on Earth, such as electrical power grids, communications systems and satellites... | someuwin
16/2/2011 15:05 | I can't help feeling that this drop a bit unwarranted, IMHO. Given that the Co has such an incredible and visible revenue stream. I must admit to having been quite excited the past few days. Let's hope normal upward service will be resumed ASAP. John W | 2350220
16/2/2011 14:33 | Well take an interest quick and put us back into space please! | leluot2
16/2/2011 14:26 | Given my username I suppose I should show some interest here - never knew that I was destined for space ! | hylas
16/2/2011 14:11 | My broker says this share allways falls on low volume. | pojscott
16/2/2011 13:50 | Could be three or four weeks away, though. | meljohn
16/2/2011 13:38 | Low volume so why the fall today? The 'in service' RNS should give a real boost when it comes. | leluot2
16/2/2011 12:56 | We need some big boys to take an interest in this to move the share price up me thinks. | pojscott
16/2/2011 09:54 | Probably this. Things have been all over the place. | jeffian
16/2/2011 07:34 | Anyone know why we have trading before 8 0`clock? | blue forever
16/2/2011 05:45 | The RNS was very positive - better than i,d expected - everything looks to be going well - all we need now is the Hylas 1 in service RNS and this will look incredibly cheap at todays 620p - 630p . superg1 - are you still out? | colva
15/2/2011 23:48 | "That's the last we will be hearing from his rather ignorant foul mouth." Thanks, yorgi. We really can do without his sort of stuff. | meljohn
15/2/2011 17:40 | if you click on the latest RNS it says £6.37 - ADVFN prices are all over the place! IG says £6.21 Avanti website: 623 - 627.5 | stromboli1 |
