I joined the party today with a small purchase hoping that on the 14th feb which is valentines day, I truley will have fallen in love with this stock!

Who knows ! The forced seller idea is the most likely I think as I commented a moment ago there is no reason to think there is anything wrong.

More likely to be an overhang from forced seller. The Coy should know. Shame they couldn't have managed to place the shares themselves. I don't get the impression they are very savvy when it comes to managing the market and their share price

On the face of it all is going well with a stream of new contracts signed and as far as we have been informed we have a working satellite due to enter service very soon.

I would have thought we are getting to a situation where the company should issue an RNS to assure shareholders that all is well with Hylas1 or if there is a problem they are obligated to inform the market.

I looks like people have wisely taken advantage of the bounce on the launch of Hylas and have sold hoping to buy at a lower level. That lower level could be around the level of the 200 day moving average. Time will tell.

hywel - I wouldn't beat yourself up. The "opportunity" to top up at £5.70 lasted all of one minute before the share price bounced :)

I suspect, as is often the case although no-one will ever admit, that the results are not ahead of expectation and possibly delays with getting Hylas 1 into commercial service.

until this point it is unlikely that there will be any positive moves at all.

we can all speculate, hopefully Monday will provide the insight we need, welcome or otherwise!

HYLAS 1 was successfully launched Nov 26th. HYLAS 2 with three times the caopacity of HYLAS 1 will be launched spring 2012.
just waiting for commercial service to commence. Cant see anything else holding share price back.

meanwhile back on planet earth. As plasbryn points out, the bounce of £5.70 corresponds with the 200 day moving average so a positive sign and great opportunity to top up. (Assuming it holds today).

the other reason i have added today is because the share price has been marked down some 25% from the peak now. so no news is already priced in ..... and just an 'all on track' message in the interims should see a recovery. anything more positive will be exciting.

HB - ist satellite already orbiting. servicing / testing whatever being done. 2nd satellite planned. Link to company website near top of this thread might be a good place to start yr research.

I'm new to this. The launch is due on the 15th, yes?
