Long time lurker, first time buyer today. Been watching these since 170p (i know!). Nice contract win today and i've been waiting for the price to get back to 600p where there is support, decided not to get too cute with the price so bought now.

I'm sure that not every contract negotiation is completed successfully, I think AVN need to start releasing RNS's stating when they don't move forward with contracts due to unacceptable terms, value etc.

They don't need to name the other party.

I'm right huh, I hope that they are very particular and do not entertain prospects where the returns are not acceptable.

I would hate that, given their bargaining position, they just sign anything up in the hope that the market perceives this as positive.

Based on recent experience, I think the only thing that would kick start this stock is if they announce that the satellite is really a star wars laser and the broadband contracts are a front.

Quality will come through in time I'm quite sure. However apart from this white technology that some think is going to be the death of AVN I think they should look at an older and more established technology which has been proven. Two empty baked bean tins and a piece of string held tight :-)

Share price will only rise if there`s a demand for it and at the moment not many appear to be interested.

I agree John that is what the market want to here that Hylas1 is in service and it is supposed to be end of Q1 so I would think March is about right.

I suspect we will have to wait for the into service confirmation before the slide will abait. March from memory. One of my few non commodity holdings and in for the long term, which is the only way imo with this baby.

Following today's rns and the weekend RHPS mag article i'm back in with 1500 shares and hoping the share price will soon start its biuld up reflecting new contracts and the run up to the launch of Hylas 2.
