I bought a few more last week when it dipped below 700p with the thought of a just holding for 10% but I think I'm going to hold on to them now for a much higher price that I don't think is far away.....not that I've got my 10% yet.

It'll be good to see it close above that recent closing high of 725.5p, but I'll feel more comfortable when it starts closing at levels above the recent intraday high of 764p.

As you say Naeclue sometimes shares do seem to have a life of their own......but usually fundamentals come through and if we continue winning contracts then I see no reason for us not to head onto the £10 area

Dougie, two things come to mind.
The successful launch was followed by a successful placing. The first caused an up-gap in the shareprice and the second caused that gap to be partially filled with some of the placees selling some to even out their risk profiles.
That has probably ceased now and the share price rises on little volume as the light selling pressure eases off.
The apparent excess of sells over buys is often illusiary since trades are registered AFTER the bid/ask is adjusted upwards causing buys to look like sells.

dougie -- you need to insert the phrase ".. visible evidence of.." before that word volume. The biggest of big trades will so often be recorded late.

Dougie - what do I know but my guess is there will be an RNS soon re either satellite working ok - we reckoned it was about 10 days from launch in other companies - or a good contract win. Basically leaks.

im delighted to see this baby moving higher. but i can never understand how this share is moving up today on no volume and it seems more sells than buys.
can anyone shed some light on this for me

Hi All,
From memory, I think that the time the signal takes is about .4s on both the uplink and the downlink. So about threequarters of a second for a round trip.

Yes I would agree with Horneblower, selling the service won't be problem I'm quite sure. With BT having signed a contract with AVN they could find they want more space on Hylas1

Thought it was less-about half a second. Hardly a problem for normal use,domestic or business.
