02/10/2012 13:38 | the MACD is getting into position for a possible UP signal. but volume still very low. a good RNS within the next 5 days could provide the spark. I'm looking for at least 450 on the next upwave before a fall back (to 400 ?) | ![]() backmarker
02/10/2012 12:42 | Without checking back through RNS's I think the BOD intend to move to the main market in 2013, whether that is early in the year or not I have no idea. | ![]() yorgi
02/10/2012 12:23 | Gumshoe, those things don't happen overnight, a non-event. Known knowns make not one jot of difference, share price would've risen in advance of this in anticipation of the FTSE 250 listing | k0108356
02/10/2012 11:59 | It will go fully listed and the index funds will need to buy soon. Order of 10 per cent of the company will need to be bought. Would not be short when that happens, but don't know exactly when. | ![]() gumshoe7
02/10/2012 11:53 | Rogk way that charts looking u best hope that this lovely RNS of yours doesn't get sold into, bid being tapped like a porn star at the mo | k0108356
02/10/2012 10:05 | If anyone want's to see the power of TA, if this 340 level breaks----PRAY, and if ur an atheist PRAY!! | k0108356
01/10/2012 22:30 | Wow Enami, What a great find. So doing a chack for AVN, shows that we are about £30M below the Market Cap for automatic inclusion of the FTSE 250, according to that spreadsheet. Great the stuff you find on here. All the best, John | ![]() 2350220
01/10/2012 21:55 | Count Chris - If Avanti were to list on the main market instead of AIM then there is a review each quarter, MCap at the close on the Tuesday before the second Friday in March, June, September and December is the measurement. This is a good site to keep track of the situation. | ![]() enami
01/10/2012 20:46 | How does FTSE250 entry work? Is it the Cap on a particular day or some sort of average between particular dates? | count chris
01/10/2012 15:00 | I expect they will put out an announcement of when the results are. Or somebody could ring them ...... | martincoops
01/10/2012 08:05 | Morning SG. Sorry been away most of the weekend and spent last night catching up with cricket, golf and football . . . Don't know the answer to your question. As you say, that kind of 'detail' is not my thing. I seem to remember /understand that there are some loan repayments which will kick in year end. I'll try and do some checking . . . | johncsimpson
01/10/2012 07:30 | for some reason they tend to be the same day of the week so im going for wednesday. j. | ![]() jonnyno1
29/9/2012 10:36 | I've added some more for the short term. If we hear going to plan then I am planning for the trading range to move up another 50 or so to around and about the 400 level. If we hear ahead of plan then perhaps more. The stuff below all applies to the 2.5 months since the july 11 announcement, not the finals. H1 target for capacity end Q1 2014 - the Q1 bit is mine based on 3 yr lag from commissioning. H2 target for capacity end Q3 2016 - 4 years lag from commissioning (original was 5 yrs so they are already ahead of plan so to speak). So to plan would be about 50% H1 or approx 25M GBP annualised. Ahead of plan would be a ratio of capacity used to revenue which takes earning capacity beyond 50M GBP. I don't have an H2 target as I don't think we'll get a financial update until the interims. Total backlog should be in range 271-279M. Needle movers above and beyond. I don't expect news and these aren't (yet or at all) part of the core investment case: 1. Some take up of the 170M military options. These are not part of the backlog and given their nature I don't think they will be broken out. 2. Regulation to sell direct to the military. 3. Announcement of H4 4. H3 backlog numbers with an estimate to fill. 2015 launch and covering the same turf as H1 and H2 so I think any direct prognosis at this stage is moot. Target to fill should be 3yrs post commissioning IMO. 5. Timetable for move to main market. Number 5 can increase the share price without having to improve the business at all. The directors are well aligned with other shareholders having spent their own cold hard cash on shares in the last couple of years. The broadening of the potential investor base, plus inclusion in the FTSE 250 would provide a nice kick. Personally I would move over just after the publication of the next interims which will include the first H2 revenue, but I would announce the intention now so that current investors can position themselves accordingly if they wish. If the share price can get into the 400-450 range then there is a good chance we would get automatic entry to the FTSE250. | ![]() hpcg

29/9/2012 06:35 | John I know you concentrate mainly on TA. But what figures do you or others expect on Monday re costs. I note around £13.5m costs H1. With around £26m in the bank | ![]() superg1
29/9/2012 04:18 | Martin , i don't think Avanti have given a firm date but i believe IG Index have them down for Monday which would fit in with previous years, these are the prelim results , the full accounts may not be out for another couple of months. | colva
28/9/2012 23:47 | Guys struggling to find the announcement about when the results are could somebody point me to it. Many Thanks | martincoops
28/9/2012 17:24 | As you say we will see but that is what I'm expecting, let's hope you have timed it right Colva :-) | ![]() yorgi
28/9/2012 17:01 | Yorgi , bought a few more just before the close at 350.69p , hope i got my timing right but we'll see what Monday brings , expecting an "everything going to plan" update. | colva
28/9/2012 14:32 | Sorry when I said good results I mean as expected and no surprises. | ![]() jonnyno1
28/9/2012 12:27 | you got your answer then rathlindri, it was a case of looking back at last year's date. i expect good results and a good update on progress, unfortunately share price will not react well! i think there is an underlying fear that their tech is going to be out of date before they can make the returns they should. however i really think that fear is unfounded. j. | ![]() jonnyno1 |
