There does seem a persistent seller, was looking at the order book today and that bid just kept being tapped up. Doesn't seem an end to the drip drip drip down, IG reporting Monday 1st Oct with Preliminary results and tomorrow's close will reveal all if we were being sold down for any particular reason. The price always knows first....

Doesn't seem that way from all the good news we've already had so far:
Hylas 1, and now 2 all OK, contracts a plenty etc and still stuggling to make it to 400p.

Where do these nutter's come from? AVN is a satellite broadband business, it reports what it does and charts do as they do. In a nutshell end of, any "fantasy trades", "mysterious placings" are just that, fantasy and mystery! Anyway as you u were, keep's my day ticking over :)

Yes the short term trend is pointing to the 340p area , hopefully it'll hold if its tested .

Hello Colva - I've noticed you do well with your little 'trading' buys. It's always interesting to see how others do even on little 'side -bet' trades. I think you're playing a canny game but that 342ish area is the problem. We've had lower highs and lower lows for over a week now.

I bought some earlier today , the risk/reward looks pretty good at this level , the risk being a close below 340p and the reward would be a move back above 365p, a close below the 340p support area and i'd be out.

how was H-3 funding "ultra discreet" ? hell, even I heard all about it.

long before the H-3 funding AVN had announced it was looking generally at different funding options in order to get investors the best deal, as even then financing was tight.

in the end the deal with SRC became available, that had to be underwritten, so AVN took the best option which was to raise the cash.

how was any of that ultra discreet ?

Avanti, the satellite operator, has today announced a conditional placing of 26,785,714 Ordinary Shares with new and existing institutional investors to raise approximately £73.8 million (net of expenses). The Placing is to enable Avanti to fully fund the cost of the design, construction and launch of HYLAS 3.

Yes it was no other than the British government (aka usa).

Without doubt Hylas 2 is going to be highly used as a military satelite by NATO in the up coming war in the middle east and existing wars.

Fully expecting a buy out here.

Why?.......better the satelites H2 and H3,2015, are in private hands going forward. DYOR.

btw..............anyone ever enquired about Hylas 3 funding?.................thats because it was ultra discreet.........why.
