Chip good points....AIM market is the problem..if companies are not making a profit they are shorted its a no-brainer, no cash coming in will need more sometime.

They had US$21.1m in cash on 30th June and have since sold 10,000 oz for revenue of c. US$10m.

First debt repayment is c. US$9.77m. So it looks highly probable that no deferment of this payment should be required. If it was required I would imagine that an extra month or so could be negotiated without too much trouble - after all it would be in the banks best interest to do so.

It normally takes several months to reach the hurdle for declaration of first commercial production so their original target of 4Q15 looked reasonable.

The secondary crusher delay looks to be a short one so they should still be able to ramp up production through November and December.

Today's (over) reaction looks like an opportunity to me.

All this debt is all well and good until you have to pay it back. In hindsight they should of issued equity.

Chip this could be like european minerals. If they don't buck their ideas up.

They have produced affectively one months production in five months. So it is hardly a few days.

What matters is getting cash flow positive.

I hope they are also speaking with their creditors about deferring the first few payments.

Some interesting comments here!

Hardly a disaster and hardly unusual for hiccups to occur during the ramp-up of a new mine.

Having spent years building to this point, a few days of lost milling time is a pretty minor setback which, when taken over the life of mine, is inconsequential.

What matters is the long term steady state production and consequent earnings that will accrue.

AIM BOD think they are worth being paid fortune yet continued poor performance seems acceptable in this
country now. Last one standing don't forget to switch the lights out.

Don't hold anymore but have had this on my radar for ages.

Was looking for a time to come back in but I don't really think this news brings confidence at the moment.

Gutted for AUE as its a project in a country that really needs investment.

Good luck all - hope your fortunes turn.

2 week delay is no big deal and they have been quick to react. 10000 Oz is disappointing however. Was supposed to be 60000 by year end,no?

I hope they have a very good technical team led by hands-on expats; preventative maintenance is not a concept that exists in the third world.
Politically correct types who don't like this fact can shove it.

Commercial production is some 10000 oz/month, they seem to be a long way from that, the market ain't going to like this news.
