this was always going to be a boring/testing time for Auerus, the most important date is commercial production, when the mine is running at capacity I think for either 90 or 60 days and is cash flow positive.

The mine was scheduled to be handed over mid July from the company that built and commissioned it to auerus so that news is due.

This looks like a fair price to be topping up, the recent fall in gold prices is obviously also not helping.

Interesting piece from BAML highlighting the seasonality of gold prices and the fact that in 25 of the last 27 years gold prices have rallied in late summer.

Well Shavers..... Nursey and I have attempted to distract ourselves with further forays into AIM shares ...after the fiasco and drubbing at Afferro !

Some successful others not so..... so Nursey has suggested a game of Leap Le Frog... sadly this did not end well as when Nursey attempted to leap over Marie Claire she collapsed on the poor girl.

She (Nursey) and Marie Claire are in the sick room slinging paper planes at one another.. However a particulary enthusiatic throw by Nursey ended up with her on the floor, breaking her left elbow.

Still, the indefatigble wench puts on a brave face and waves a flag ( Tonga, I believe) whenever she sees me.

She says she will take up Sumo wrestling when she recovers .... I am not sure she would be allowed...she doesn't speak Japanese....

Yes there is Arf ..... And she is called Pandora ( I know this as she is Nursey's Aunt ) and lives in West Drayton. Nursey supplies her with lots of pills soooooooo...she's awfully happy. So there !! Also known to do a wicked jig if she discerns a good reading in the tea leaves......

beeezzz, you may be on to something but opinion is divided on that one. Am I on too much medication, or too little? There's a happy medium somewhere.

What do you mean, gold in Albania? Isn't there a war on or something? Oh, you said Liberia? Isn't that the same thing? OK, OK, well they do sound the same. Surely you can't be serious... I mean... gold in Africa... And anyway, all the decent chaps I know trade bond futures.

Have I missed something....what the hell...can't be fear of couple cases of Ebola is it, surly not.

Well soon as Greece moves on and back to drachma we will see Gold rise fast, rest of the Euro project will come under scrutiny. Germany could be next to leave, otherwise they will be last ones holding all the debts, gooooooooooooooood.

It will remain under pressure for as long as a few people in Manhattan want it to.

latest presentation is pointing to commercial production in Q4 which is a bit disappointing.

Would be nice to get an update on if a second gold pour has taken place and how much was produced.

Some new photos are on the website, don't really show much.

Gold looks as though it will remain under pressure for the rest of the year.

Well a good bounce at least. Looks like they're doing everything they can to keep confidence in currency by slamming gold. Jeez.

It's a localised and quarantined outbreak. The mechanisms for containment will all be in place. No need for hysteria though it's obvious many are fleeing for safety.
