@ Herbert Howells

If you go here :

There are a number of David Reading interviews. In one of them (can't remember which for the life of me) he says, (I think in answer to a question), that any offer for the company of over 40p/share would be put to the shareholders by the board.
He did not say that he would recommend such an offer, nor did he say what he thought the company was worth.

Maybe some one else can remember which video it was, but I cant! and life is too short.

cheers

Steve

Herbert,

What comments are you referring to?

Thanks.

I sat next to Herbert Howells on my first day at RCM in 1980. Thea King was playing his clarinet sonata. Great music.

"I think the CEO's comments re eventual valuation and sale have put a lot of people off, IMO - including me."

Thought I had most sources of news covered but I have missed these comments.

Where did he say this?

Please could somebody provide a link or point me in the right direction. Thanks.

All depends on POG, above $1100 and there is a viable business, just, below and the numbers just don't add up....

Yes trend reversed - should see a swift move to 24p - whether it breaks higher to 28p though is another matter - although a couple of chartists think it will by end of August - so may get traders doing t20s on it

I wonder how accurate this forecast may be - an impossible task to predict with total confidence, I accept.

Was the comment made on "eventual" valuation or just what offer would need to be taken seriously against today's sp?,either way seems a bit of careless talk!

Agree lumi.

I think the comment about take over at 40p was crazy. That has limited the upside on this.

There are other gold price plays out there, too.

I think they are being held down by someone ! A move on up in POG will help them pop,way too cheap IMHO.!!!

Agree - but still no real upturn in share price. Can buy at 20.8 today. Showing a buy on britishbulls, but might stay on side lines. Tight spead today however which make it very tempting to jump in.

POG starting to look as if it's in an uptrend, dangerous thought! But the oil price should be having a significant effect on mining costs, some of those may be fixed with the Monurent contract but their power generating costs will be no small part of their op. costs.

As if by magic, it ran out of steam. Almost bought, but still sitting on sidelines. Will see what happens in next few days to pog and markets overall before i commit.Hopefully it won't drop again. Would like to see this move up.

Well - the price never fell below 20p which is a major positive. (did dip in July but never closed below)

POG is up a bit now as well which is excellent.

Some of the technical patterns are showing that it might be the end of a bearish pattern and now turning more bullish.

A close above 21.5 should be a big positive sign.

Have been on the side lines for a while have sold out at 29p, but looking at possibly getting back in for a short term profit. Will be watching this one this afternoon to see what happens.

China devalues currency . Other may follow and this may help POG . Rate may be delayed to dec or next year .

21.25p is the level to take out for a meaningful turn here. Gold above last week's high now.

As at June 30, 2015 the Company had cash and cash equivalents of US$21.1 million.

quite key imo

now we just need them to reach commercial production before it has all gone.

Management believes that the current funds and projected operating cash flows will be sufficient to finance the committed capital expenditure, operating costs, general working capital and corporate costs over the next twelve months.

All on the POG now, they've done a good job getting this far, only to go into production at the low point of gold prices.
