I reckon the directors will keep their job and should be well accepted. Looking at recent results the business plan seems to be turning the figures back into positive. Why try and fix something that is working....

Hi all
well we have had a bit of voting to do hope everyone votes, mind you i hope they arnt gonna ring me as last time, just as fell to sleep (as i had a 13 hour drive in front of me ) hay presto a call from an Aukett guy asking if i had received my voting slip etc, i was not a happy bunnie but a very knackered man the following day.
Had another sheeve of papers concerning the directore and voting on the 11/3/04 lucky i hadnt filled in my slip as on the 13th had some more bumff, reckon it would have been better all in the one envelope still its done but if anyone from aukett monitors this bb dont ring me!

Here's the plot as I see it_- Aukett acquired European interest through share issue some time back (Spain particularly) - owners accepted but coudn't sell (normal rules) for x years. Now they can sell they look at the share price and .. where's the money? They want the Board to maximise s-value and they want to do be the ones to do it - hence the price rise in anticipation. And the price drop that will follow if they fail on 25 March.

what are the other shareholders trying to do. Reduce directors? or just get them to run company better and therefore increase share price

Regard to my early post, this must all be good for the share price in the short term. I do have a question at how much all this will cost a company, espically as it has a very small market capitalisation, but lots of shares in issue.

The board must be anxious.

As I hold through a nominee account I don't normally receive details regarding
AGM's, but the company has written to me seperately with details of the resolutions. I don't hold that many shares, just over 70,000. And last night received an phone call on behalf of the board, checking to see if I had received my documents and enquiring which way would I vote.

Offer and Bid been rising all day without any reported trades yet . . .
Looks an interesting recovery story with 7p being the first target and 12p thereafter. With good results I expect to be here until at least 12p - A long wait since Nov 2001 however I'm always prepared to stay around for the long term.

Well it was a T-Trade after the Bell of 25K @5.5p! Don't think there's much stock around if the MMs have to do a T Trade for this size of stock - Well I suppose if the NMS is only 1000!

Hmmpphhh

Look at this go - I sold 79k of them this morning. Typical!

At least I still have 62k.

I only sold because I thought it wasn't going anywhere for a while and at 3.5p bid that was my lowest price in profit (ie any lower and I'd have been in a loss situation).

Oh well.

Well, its not over-flowing. The price went down again today (not sure why). This company does have its merits, on the surface, but there are some worrying question-marks when you dig down a bit as I have done recently. We'll have to wait and see before forming a view as to whether this is indeed a buying opportunity. I would need some reassurance from the company itself as to concerns re (eg) 1. the relatively high level of trade debts at 30/9/03, and 2. board structure.

I'm out of these shares because - well look at the graph. BUt here seem to be the current holdings. Of course some of these worthies might have retired by now but I've seen no declaration of sales go through. IF they purchased at 8.5p they must have had some pretty poor investment advice
