27/1/2006 12:33 | It looks as though the merger with Fitzroy is starting to pay off. They really seem to have their heads screwed on now and I think all bodes well for the future. Let's hope this will gradually take auk back up to the 6-7p range. May take a while!! | only a paper loss
27/1/2006 12:24 | Well results on initial inspection looks good, with a healthly looking balance sheet from the merger. I might try a add a few more now. | crfc63

30/11/2004 19:23 | Fitzroy Robinson was established in 1956 and has since become one of the best known architectural practices in the United Kingdom. We are based in Central London, with a regional office in Bristol, an international office in Moscow and associated offices in Budapest and Warsaw. | tiraider
30/11/2004 19:01 | looking at the chart, the downtrend has recently been broken and a positive (upwards) period had just begun. Seems that Fitzroy Robinson have struck just at the right time whilst the share price was almost at a low, but Auketts fortunes were improving. That doesn't bode too well for the price, however a reasonable premium should not be ruled out. | tiraider
30/11/2004 18:53 | It means that they are being taken over by Fitzroy Robinson (probably a non quoted company), FR will then be quoted initially as Aukett Group, but could and probably will in due course change the name to one of their choosing. The terms etc will also in due course be announced and the shares will return from suspension (hopefully at a premium, although not necessarily; that will depend upon the the agreed price). rgds tr | tiraider
30/11/2004 18:39 | I guess they must have run out of cash then. Don't know much about reverse takeovers but I understand it's a cheap way to get a stock market listing and is often a smaller company reversing into and taking over a larger company or a private company buying a listed company. Could be a ploy by AUK to protect it from takeover. Don't know where it leaves the shareholder but I guess the guy who sold 91k at 2.25 this morning didn't want to wait and find out. | darkinbad
30/11/2004 16:34 | a reverse takeover so where does this leave the shareholder! | distill |
