Could you post the write up??

These are looking excellent value now..

Surely with Seymour Pierce knowing about the ATH and SRG businesses so well, the obvious thing is to reverse SRG into ATH Resources...????

Got to be a strong buy with coal prices still rising..

Been off surfing in N Devon so playing catch up.

My p of s post was just that.

To be honest I have no idea if the deal is good or bad. No uplift in share price so take your pick.

SRG pulled their float on Friday!? Regeneration gone so a deal and listing with ATH on the cards?

Any ideas?

I'm suspicious that the Directors are feathering their own nest.

The deal looks good but unfortunately we are in the middle of some serious market malaise at the moment..

Regeneration sale just announced...looks wells structured decent cash and royalty/land payments...

The catalyst to get us to a more realistic price and head back towards the 100p level..

Well said, I also cannot believe the recent fantastic planning permission has been so quickly forgotten..

Yeah I'm not very keen on internal approaches either. They smell of management licking their chops as they get their hands on a cheap asset rather than concentrating their efforts on improving the share price.

an internal approach looks dodgy

i hope the committee of independent directors have got their wits about them

loaf

Re yr 1st point, I was wondering the same, the more so because of who's making the approach and perhaps looking to their own futures.

Tom owns a fair chunk of ATH so I can't see him wanting to trash the share price

I would have prefered a cash rich outsider, but such is life.

Interesting.

We'll see.

But congratulations to ATH on keeping shareholders up to date, whatever the outcome. It's what so many of us have been asking for.

Has anyone seen anything further re SRG flotation?

All I've seen is that it was scheduled for July, so has it been delayed like other planned IPOs?

Despite recent difficulties, the long-term outlook for coal remains positive and ATH should benefit from strengthening pricing and the potential sale of the regeneration business. Moreover, a forward PE ratio of seven isn't demanding. Good value.

Sorry found conclusion...above..

Have you got the write up?

Reasonable volume trickling through on the Buy side should be making the market relatively tight..
