02/2/2010 16:48 | Sold out at 83 pence having collected a tasty dividend. Will be watching from the wings for a while here.( my only reason for selling was poor sentiment generally which will drag down decent but not widely known/traded stocks ) | dunluce
02/2/2010 16:23 | Online quotes have done a major reversal in our favour. 25k/25k so looks like a line in the sand at this price. | loafofbread

27/1/2010 10:55 | Not much said in the AGM statement. Had a slight concern that the bad weather might have hit production but no mention so not an issue. More cold weather coming will keep domestic demand strong and you never know a few of us might reinvest todays dividend. Happy to add if it drops below 80p this week. | loafofbread
26/1/2010 15:23 | I can't see any AGM statement anywhere. Did anybody go and if so anything interesting to report? TIA | labatie

07/1/2010 14:53 | loaf. XD date clearly listed on ADVFN financials page. these are looking very cheap again. what others have failed to note is that proven and probable reserves were uprated as well at the end of last year. | weemonkey

07/1/2010 13:35 | Might have helped if ATH had put in the final line that CCT used. It would have \saved a little bit of confusion. Please note this is from CCT results. Subject to approval by Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 20 January 2010, the final dividend will be paid on 29 January 2010 to Shareholders on the Register as at 8 January 2010. The shares will go ex-dividend on 6 January 2010. Out of interest anyone know the details of our AGM and is anyone going? | loafofbread

03/1/2010 07:42 | er... janekane ?? that is just a function of rising price on a dividend paying stock..the yield will go down. not a terribly pithy observation I am afraid. stock looks massively cheap to me by almost any measure esp compared to UKC which is in trouble with everything going the wrong way. | weemonkey
29/12/2009 16:52 | % was a lot higher 2 months ago | janekane
22/12/2009 20:53 | ATH does seem to be in a good position - even if the shareprice hits a £1.00 the dividend will still be over 6%. | dunluce
21/12/2009 23:20 | With minute profits at interims last year (what was it ... £100 grand or something? ) this company was thought to be a basket case and got smashed in the market The current price action is simply a reflection of the fact that this is a profitable enterprise with a secure future in a stable industry backed by long contracts with all the principle energy generators in the Uk. The previous lows seemed to suggest receivership. Recent results have shown that nothing could be further from the truth. At the price I bought at I am set to get a nearly 9% yield. Those brave enough (lucky enough) to have bought at 40p will be getting a 16% yield on the price they paid . the divi is up this year as well suggesting that this is at the bottom of the dividend cycle It is clear the company have a strong desire to pursue a healthy dividend policy. 2007's 11.6p divi does not look to be out of reach given increased reserves and news of increased production going forward. should the company once again pay a 11.6p dividend (does not seem unreasonable) those that bought at 40p will get a 29% annual payout on their purchase - incredible . more important than anything though is the strengthening balance sheet. | undervaluedassets |
