Well I would expect the trading update to be positive, they said before there was an improvement and the weather has been good..excellent value at the moment..

In the initial throes of research on this one, seems to be a steady decline on the share price over the last 6 months. Is this due to the legal issue in France or just not enough heads turned here. So far this looks a cracking buy and a divvi thrown in for good measure. Any thoughts / feedback welcomed.

Point taken.

Perhaps I should have said 'titular management'

Good buying Fri. Is that an overhang that was cleared/partially cleared?

Patersons quarry last buy was at 84p.

God knows why they aren't loading up at this price.

I must say, I find it difficult to see why the sale of the regeneration has produced such a flat response.

The potential may be there, but it was plainly taking much more time and effort to get it moving than management had expected, and we're left with producing mines with long term contracts in an improving coal mkt, plus the 2 recent planning permits.

I joined the queue and bought a few more yesterday.

Must be right

It has become a total mystery this stock...????

Evertime I think it is a bargain and buy more, it goes down....

We desperately need some positive news to act as a catalyst..

Who are "recycoal",isn't anyone interested?.
Do they have any connection to existing shareholders,or current financial advisers?.
Why did Tom Allchurch sell his shares at this low price, with the dividend yield they would have been easy to finance.
Is he intending to sell the balance?.
Is the Finance Director also going to sell his shares?.
Should'nt we be told?.

Buyers building here, this can move very quickly when it wants....I agree that coal pricing is still very attractive/the weather should have helped/and the finances have improved...

Did nicely first time around with ATH and have followed ever since. My thought process is probably somewhat clouded by my first experience of ATH. The falling price has simply reached a level which to me looks attractive on a risk/reward basis. The company should be completely focussed on maximising profits from coal production( having divested the regeneration side ). The coal market looks attractive at present and there is the divvy to take into account.

Nice to have you on board.

I'm very tempted to add, but have a stack load that are all underwater.

What's your interest in ATH, i.e in the industry or just a savvy investor (unlike us so far)?
