09/4/2010 12:07 | Online quotes best for weeks. Something will have to give. | loafofbread

06/4/2010 15:20 | looking a little healthier today. | spaceparallax
01/4/2010 15:36 | A sea of blue and still this trickles down, ffs. Lets hope thats the last of it. Any further weakness and they should bring the pre-close forward imho. | loafofbread
31/3/2010 14:09 | I didn't say they had sold out, but the market knows they want to get out at some point since they are realising all their investments. | gco1133a
31/3/2010 14:08 | I used to be a jobber in the dim and distant. If this a large selling order, they're doing it on their own doorstep dribbling stock into the market like this. There must be several income funds who'd take the stock just like that. Why on earth not place it in one lump? | labatie
31/3/2010 12:13 | I had a brief chat with the company yesterday and they are working towards 14th April as the date for the pre close announcement. This year it is 6 months to the 4th April, a week later than last hence the later date. If it is anything like last years all points will be covered. I pointed out the recent share price weakness and reminded them of the very positive outlook statement made in the results. They are aware of their duty to disclose and as they haven't the full year statement stands. The trickle of selling could be down to year end tax planning, in which case Paterson will pay less for his next lot. GCO, Out of interest have you got a link to your Alchemy fund selling out. As far as the company is aware all holders are supportive and as of yesterday no more holding notices have been received. | loafofbread
31/3/2010 10:17 | Alchemy could provide the answer - certainly has been puzzling to see the retracement despite the Paterson RNS. We do desperately need a bounce here, otherwise it's possible that stop-losses could trigger a trip to 60p | spaceparallax
31/3/2010 09:36 | 7.5 million shares | gco1133a
31/3/2010 09:24 | Do you know how many they hold please? | labatie
31/3/2010 08:11 | Alchemy are winding down their fund so will be selling off their holding at some point. Until that holding is sold the share price will be held back. See SND as a comparison. Anyway I'm in for some of these and may add if it drifts lower. | gco1133a
30/3/2010 14:24 | Decent late buy IMHO. | loafofbread
30/3/2010 12:48 | it could be very positive if it bounces i.e. gives us a DB | spaceparallax
30/3/2010 11:22 | Nothing like a bit of positive thought! The online sell is back to 25K at 75p so some demand at this level. | loafofbread
30/3/2010 11:14 | Interesting to see what happens when we test the 75p level | spaceparallax
26/3/2010 07:51 | Well we got the late trades. I wish they would keep the holding RNS up to date. | loafofbread
25/3/2010 12:24 | It is difficult to fathom, especially given the share price that Paterson paid | spaceparallax
24/3/2010 09:12 | Certainly odd that the sp's dipped after seeing that RNS | spaceparallax
23/3/2010 21:53 | "The Company was notified by William Paterson Esq. on 22 March 2010 that, following an acquisition by Paterson Quarries Limited of 175,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the issued share capital of the Company at a price of 85 pence per share, he is now beneficially interested in 2,464,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 6.15% of the issued share capital of the Company. William Paterson holds 564,000 of these shares in his own name representing 1.41% of the voting rights in the Company and Paterson Quarries Limited, a company of which William Paterson is a director and the controlling shareholder, holds 1,900,000 of these shares representing 4.74% of the voting rights in the Company." And that would be Paterson as in | sandlab |
