I expect the re-rating to continue next week, fair value should be around 350p, last weeks bargains at 175p gone, with some in my pot, and with a potential 100% upside from here... :o)

Over the years here, the share price has always tracked Copper both ways but with a lag of a week or 2 on the way up, which has been a reliable past indicator (so far)..

LLB! I hear you, I managed to pick some more up at 178p.Regarding missing most of the rise... You still have 180p - 350p rise to ride!

I sold out of 110,000 at c £1.40. a few months back.

Put the whole lot into ALTN at 0.5p :-)

Copper looking strong, bought back 9,000 today at £1.78.

Copper now 3.03 and this hasn't moved. In fact most copper stocks haven't moved.
Tends to suggest that the market doesn't believe the copper price rise and wants to see further evidence it can be sustained.
If this continues I might be forced to buy more.

Just a nice steady 10 - 20 % rise in share price from here in next month or two. I'll take that all day. Its a safer bet than most at the moment.

With global demand for copper increasing I can't see any reason to sell. We are producing a product that is in demand. What's not to like?

Rather surprised to see the share price slip back to these levels, given we have been making good money since the copper price went above $2.80 in early July. Since then it's averaged $2.90, and all the time it stays at that level I'm a happy holder and a buyer on any pull backs.

I was a forced seller of some at £2.03, due to a portfolio which had far too much copper exposure. However having sold KAZ recently (worried about future debt increasing substantially), I bought back the ones I sold at £1.90, and have since bought a few more at £1.80.

Definitely have too many again, and will top slice if it rises again. However it will need to be a bit higher this time around, especially if copper stays at these levels for a while longer.

Nice to see KEFI, breaking out. ATYM own some of KEFI so a nice exposure to Gold and more copper too

Not sure why the sell off, but wonder how much this tails down...It's getting back into double bag territory of the £3.50. Excellent.Of course, I haven't accounted for new developments, but I see £3.50 as an easily achievable figure in 1-2 years.

A bit like small mining companies but even riskier.All good fun.

A very good friend of mine who is knee deep in gold/silver/copper shares ATMO and is extremely well heeled tells me he has a huge holding in FTC and "its only a matter of time before they're taken out..."

As you hold CAR, thought you might be interested...FTC is very local for us...

Highlights from todays Antofagasta preliminary results show copper is going to be in short supply in the short term....Group copper production in the first half of 2020 was 371,700 tonnes, 4.0% lower than in the same period last year, largely due to expected lower ore grades at Centinela Concentrates.   As previously announced, Group copper production for the full year is expected to be at the lower end of the original 725-755,000 tonnes guidance range, on the basis that no COVID-19 related shutdowns occur during the rest of the year.Growth in copper production in the medium term will come from completion of the Los Pelambres Expansion, Zaldívar Chloride Leach and Esperanza Sur projects in 2022
