| 13/8/2020 08:59 | #Husbod, there is an update on Astor, in as much as more waiting required/kicking the can down the road, but we will be in a much stronger cash position to action a decision by the time of a clarification.. :o) On 2 March 2020, the Company filed an application for directions in the High Court to seek clarity on the definition of “Excess Cash” and to determine when it is payable. The Company has served its Statement of Case to the High Court and a case management hearing is scheduled for 30 October 2020 with a trial expected in 2021. These are a subscription share for GPM...you don't have to pay the final payment until November, which is surely at least a month or two after the fireworks here... The NAV of GPM is 67.8...if GPM rebounds to its recent high of 73.7, you make a 26% gain, but if GPSS recovers its own recent high of 24.8p you make a 77% gain... Leaving you with two choices... Copper prices although down last week are forecasted to rise with global demand and with the current unrest and turmoil with big copper miners in Chile Atalaya looks rock solid to me. | 08/8/2020 17:27 | Frustrating, but look at the volume for Friday.., just c100K mostly very small trades and all after 2pm, I suspect the Copper drop was too good an opportunity for the MMs to miss to shake the tree and free up a few shares, there has been a solid buyer in the background at 205p for the last 10 days soaking up every sell and it looks like the order is being worked through, the share price / Copper price have been static for 10 days .. Q2 Copper was USD 2.41/lb with AISC 2.20 Q3 July 2.88 per/lb Financially Q3 is going to be much stronger than Q2 .. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner | |

But Atalaya is producing 40% more and the share price was sat at pre covid levels...People looking for a quick £ pulling out of copper into gold and metal? Or do you think this is linked to the Cu price. | 07/8/2020 18:57 | Ouch! Copper down more than 3% in just 4 hours...ATYM takes the hit...sadly have to admit we sold 23,000 last week and £134,000 of Blackrock Gold & General and GPM at 8am today... Holding fast in Solgold, but time for a step back IMHO...investing most of the proceeds in formerly high yielding FTSE stocks, for an average yield of c15% if they restore their dividends...(RDSA, BP, GFRD, GLEN, AV., WPP, BT, ITV, LGEN, STA...) all in ISAs on a 2 year view at least...
