23/2/2017 12:53 | Wonder if Traf. are going to channel all their Spanish activities through Atalaya. | poleaxe
23/2/2017 12:46 | Could the negotiations for this deal be the reason we have had no directors buying? | lander12
23/2/2017 12:40 | Hi LLB..... still think the news was big enough to have merited a rise in the share price. Shall shut up, now. END | dyfiman
23/2/2017 12:24 | #dyfiman, many of us lth's have been here 7/8/9 years, but the real journey of the building of the company has only just started from Jan 2017 fully scaled up to 9.5MTPA.. To pick up and secure 80% of an asset the same size of PRT for $0.5M now and the rest on drip over the next year/2/3 is a very good deal IMO.. We are minting $4.5M per month and can start to pay off back invoices, clear Astor, buy new deposits and grow the company, I'm here for another 3 years so I'm pleased to see the growth strategy put in place.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
23/2/2017 12:08 | The above has an interesting paragraph which says that ATYM has been working on this deal since July 2015 | acamas
23/2/2017 12:06 | Would have thought that today's good news would see the share price go up a bit sharpish. Ah..... of course..... MM's think ATYM is a crock of sh....t. After nine years plus there's still small rations only for the honest PI. Best rgds all fellow sufferers. END. | dyfiman
23/2/2017 12:02 | As Stockready would say...Very excited about the massive potential here | shortarm
23/2/2017 11:41 | I may have mis-remembered, but I have heard AL talk about his previous experience of development and running a mine in Northern Spain. | sirmoori

23/2/2017 11:21 | 'obtaining permits should be easy' - lmao - this is spain we're talking about. the only thing that matters is the markets reaction, like I they are clearly unimpressed about this news. I've held these for 5yrs+ and can't wait to dump once i break even, if that ever happens | midyson
23/2/2017 11:09 | It's all value adding longer term isn't it.., now we are an established/permitte | laurence llewelyn binliner

23/2/2017 08:55 | ATYM have to find 12 million euros spread over the start up time of the venture. What are we earning per month is it $4.5 million so 3 months profit and we are off to the races on another of AL's bargain buys. AL has on more than one occasion pulled a rabbit from the hat. Who is to say he will not go farther for us over the next 5 years with a hatrick of business successes | acamas
23/2/2017 08:40 | Also...no Astor/Traf/Orion involved, accept as major holders of ATYM. Have to say I thought the next project was more likely to be an ex Trafigua project, but happy it isn't(yet). Really need some numbers to asses its potential and that reflected in the share price | waterloo01
23/2/2017 08:37 | Financially it is pay as you go. The mine is producing we have airports for travel between the two parts of the business and deep sea ports close by to export the stuff. It will bring more prosperity to the area and boy does Spain need that in large doses. Whats to be negative about at this stage? | acamas
23/2/2017 08:28 | This was what I was expecting to read only not quite so soon, remember the mining contractor agreeing to the deferring of $8M worth of invoices into 2018.., this indicated that there was another project in hand, the carrot being more business to come for the mining contractor, which seems to be the case..! Onward and upward to a multi mine, and much larger company.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
23/2/2017 08:18 | Come on guys it is a great deal. AL likes it obtaining permits should be relatively easy and we are expanding. Lets just trust AL's insight on this move | acamas
23/2/2017 08:18 | We don't have much detail but from what we do know this looks like a very good deal. PRT: 153mt at 0.45% Cu Touro: 196mt at 0.39% Cu So the new mine is on a similar scale to PRT. A bit more than a "little side project" CeFeS2, all for a possible €12M. Like PRT grades are not stellar but if we can use the same model as used at PRT then should make a good profit. SBT | superbobtaylor
23/2/2017 08:12 | Well they have seen something they like and looks very low risk. Guess need some numbers as to the potential, but a 1st step in using Alberto and the teams experience in developing other assets. In the scheme of rio tinto mine, it's small beer, but a positive move IMO and not expansion funded by loans/debt/equity etc. | waterloo01
23/2/2017 08:10 | It's a low risk low cost project . . . It will have minimal impact on the dividend policy and it's a nice little side project for AL . . . | cufes2 |
