O/T If all that ever existed was 'rock' as you put it,you might be right, but the universe, even in it's very earliest moments was a great deal more complex in structure. If you really want to understand it, you need to be thinking more about energy than pure matter. (Enough from me on this). Cheers (News soon I hope, as nature abhors a vacuum).

Interesting that these posts on evolution, some opinions are presented as facts, follows the one implying that is exactly what socialist and lib dem posters do...

Me, I don't really have an opinion either way. I believe in God, but evolution makes sense....

And it sometimes occurs to me that JC looks a bit like I imagine JC would have looked at 70....

Meanwhile, also O/T just sold and taken profits in SLP (Goldmans bearish) and reinvested the lot and more in doubling my holding in BKY...a SPANISH Uranium miner...

DYOR and GLA...

Guys, it is impossible for non living matter to become alive of its own accord....give a rock 10 million years of time and it will still be a rock in 10 million years tome.....so there must be a outside factor at play :)

O/T That's the same question as which came first, chicken or egg, but really 'just the facts'! how very misleading as there seems to be very little understanding of evolution in your post, but I'm not going to argue with a 'god' man.

Just stating the facts guys....before getting back to atym and on topic....it is just impossible for non living matter to become alive on its own accord and to give rise to complex organisms such as ourselves and replicate so therefore there must be some other agent that creates the spark that makes life exsist....answers on a postcard...:)

O/T. The only thing evidenced by posters here about evolution is that old adage that the older folk get, the more conservative (think Benny Hill) they become. Sort of evolution in reverse!

Cufe, for clarification off topic evolution falls into two types micro and macro....micro can be observed in nature macro cannot be therefore evolution is still only a theory/belief, not provable....:)

OT . . . Polls suggest that between 40-50% of Americans believe in creationism rather than evolution . . . It's only a hunch, but I would suggest there is a strong correlation between those people and Trump supporters . . . Rational thinking or ignorance . . . I could go on, but I'll leave this now . . .

OT and apologies but I'm bored - cheers Cuf and I agree BUT it is surprising how often "ignorance" is defined by the left as any view that differs from theirs and as a former social anthropologist (for a year in uni before time began) I am fascinated by the fact that liberals/luvvies and the left generally, really don't like it when the very people they are supposed to represent express a view contrary to theirs and even worse vote for someone of whom they disapprove. It is also noticeable that those on the left really don't like the results of elections if they go against them.

Me, I'm just an afficiado of the blindingly obvious.

And Lloyds Bank shares!

RP - Great timing on your investment a few weeks back. A nice move on Kincora today up 27%. Punters starting to see the huge potential here by the looks of it.

They are preparing to drill two targets with geological models analogous to nearby large scale copper mines, Oyu Tolgoi and Tsagaan Suvarga.

Hopefully copper will get it’s skates on and we’ll have another crack at 160p over the coming days, would set us up nicely for a move towards 200p when the Astor outcome is announced.

Bloomberg are reporting that BHP are in no rush to cave in to their striking workforce at Escondida on surging profits, a $6BN debt reduction plan, with a $2.5BN bond buyback, increased interim shareholder dividends, and a $3BN+ 6 monthly profit ahead of expectations..

They can afford to play the long game on worker negotiations with those numbers and wait it out, such is the scale of their influence on the Copper price, they are mopping up with their cash costs @ $0.97, and a 66% profit margin all in..!
