too simplistic monty as it is now a bit below the 131.80 it spiked to after latest poll . If it was a done deal ( hope not ! ) cable would be 1.33 already . As I said, in time the pound will weaken as country suffers after brexit and especially with a NO DEAL .

Boris 10% ahead, majority looks a done deal, pound will take off, dollars earners fall.

doubt it will get anywhere near that in next few years and it is latest opinion poll of 14% lead for Tories which is helping sterling . Odd in a way as it only eliminates uncertainty in short term but brexit and maybe even a NO DEAL brexit at end of 2020 will mean a much weaker pound . So AZN will have it's day again

Guy on Cnbc reckons sterling 1.40 to dollar.I'm leaving dollar earners alone, gone for domestic sterling payers.

Dollar earners will be weak, strong pound if Tories win, to me looking like a landslide for them.

Strong pound not good for blue chip dollar earners, dividends smaller. Further to fall for Astra.

yes, pharmas are not the flavour of the month but should recover at some point . After I cut my loss and sold at about 7490 , I thought it was a big mistake as it went to near 7600 I think . But it was only a small mistake I think and I wait to re-enter .
maybe it will have the santa rally montyhedge as you expect !
