hope you are right but a concern that so much selling pressure this week and US markets flying and many stocks rising . chart suggests a fall to 6800 as worst case scenario . Pharmas are not in favour at moment and GSK suffering too . Maybe a big plunge in DOW will make them go higher ! ( smile ) . Sometimes an analyst;s recommendation is the kiss of death ( wry smile )

120 pounds a share will do me, thats what the analyst said they could go to, I reckon they should have a share consolidation.

Analyst on Cnbc the other day did say 80 pounds possible short term, 120 pounds later on.100 pound a share, I think a certainty medium term.

you might be right about that as chart shows a ranging pattern in recent weeks and share price weakened in USA after UK close after initially rising ! US seems to be lead market from about 11.30am each day when US futures opens

Like I said pharma's easy target for politicians in a US election year, shareprice's always seem to fall.

us market strong but AZN in USA falling since opening ! very disappointing and it is

Not US not currency otherwise wouldn't be up 8 pounds in 10 days, just some closing out for the month to show a profit....

yes, pound up strongly in recent days and 1.2956 at present and heading for minimum 1.30 I think . It has knocked GSK and AZN I guess

doubt that party over yet but a bit surprising that it keeps slipping . just profit taking I guess unless it has become overvalued on fundamentals .

doing well today and let's see if it continues after US physical market opens at 2.30pm. GSK results have fired the pharma sector and I wonder if GSK will proceed to a new all time high in next week - one to watch for sure

hit today after a quite nice start and it is because of sell off in USA after
the US futures market opened a few hours ago , about 10,30am I THINK !

finished lower in USA which should mean a lower opening today at about £74 or a bit less. So seemingly they were not impressed with yesterday's news . But chart does suggest a move back to £76 soon .
