Having previously indicated that it's results would be released on Wed 12th October, ASOS results have now been DELAYED until Wed 19th October. | buy2sell1

12/10/2022 20:55 | Smray , wolf is one of those who clings on hoping . What do you think the prospects are for him ?? He’s looking for circa £50 / share to break even . Any tips or advice for him ? I did tell him to park his car in his garage , close the garage door , run the engine and just wait …. Yet he ran out of fuel… .. The guy just doesn’t get any breaks .. | ![]() melegramforttongo
12/10/2022 19:59 | The story gets worse and worse. A classic 2000 dot com boom and bust imhho. If I was invested I would get out and take the pain. Bad to worse comes to mind. Those who sold out at £60 well done, those who bought ☹️ | ![]() smraynot

12/10/2022 17:23 | Where’s their rns about this as it’s a material change to the results and a market moving event, surely they need to confirm the results are delayed to the market? Expect a rns tomorrow? All a bit shady if you ask me | ![]() ny boy
12/10/2022 16:44 | As usual, you are wrong again. In the official R.N.S "profit warning" announcement dated 9th Sept 2022, ASOS gave the Final Results disclosure date of Wed 12th Oct 2022. It's here in Black & White for all to see: "ASOS will report full-year results on 12 October 2022". ASOS results have been DELAYED by 7 days - and that probably means the bad news is even WORSE than expected !!! | ![]() dissentingvoices
12/10/2022 16:43 | Fuji99..your comment is incorrect. ASOS's investor relations have said 'we originally planned to release the FY22 results on 12th October (today). This date was changed in agreement with PWC, our auditors, given the lost working days over the Bank Holiday weekend for the Queen’s passing'. In my view, that excuse is rather lame given it was merely one extra bank holiday Monday. It doesn't bode well I'm afraid. | ![]() simon666

12/10/2022 16:26 | Sure these listed at 10p in July 2002? Started to move over 100p around Q4 2006, stayed for years in the 100’s from memory Results delayed, needs to be a justifiable reason? | ![]() ny boy
12/10/2022 16:26 | The results date was not delayed and always given in their website as 19 October. But there won't be any positive as we are witnessing for example in house builders such as (BDEV]. Retail and property sectors are suffering the effects of a recession, high interest rates and inflation. This could continue until at least next summer 2023. The chart has a signature of a long bear market without an end. | ![]() fuji99

12/10/2022 14:21 | Everyone was expecting ASOS plc to deliver its bad news Results before the financial markets opened at 08.00am today, so it seems there is a significant delay. Delays are usually a sign of BAD NEWS !!!. | factsandfigures
12/10/2022 14:07 | Would not want to own this stock when the results come out. Bet they release after close to stop the carnage. Could we see £3, I think may well do. | ![]() smraynot
12/10/2022 13:41 | With globalisation, it is impossible to invest without taking seriously into account geopolitical issues. In addition to high, inflation and interest rates, it is very difficult to predict or anticipate what's going to happen with the Ukraine/Russia conflict and where it would lead the world. With dictators such as Putin (who think they are always right, thus never listen to their advisers), escalation is not impossible. In fact this conflict is the major source of high inflation throughout the world. | ![]() fuji99
12/10/2022 13:11 | Grim..we’re in a long term bear market after decade + of funny money (zero rates) fuelling huge asset bubbles around the World. Recession next year, hardly any growth likely until 24/25 imo Buy here @ 150p ish imo Dyor | ![]() ny boy
12/10/2022 12:28 | Full year results were definitely due to be released today 12 Oct 2022 see RNS announcement dated 9th Sept 2022 "profit warning" | buy2sell1
12/10/2022 11:41 | I'm looking forward to the results landing to get stuck into their balance sheet, £150m net debt was a significant increase for H2 (£62m in H1), this suggests their cash balance had declined to ~£317m vs gross debt of £467m. As per last year final results, cash sat at £661m vs gross debt of £462m, so cash appears to have declined by nearly £350m over the last 12 months. Bear in mind that the first 6 months of the last financial year were pre war & cost of living crisis and I think it's clear to see why the share price is about to go through £5... If current conditions persist until the end of 2023 do they have enough cash to keep going? The going concern statement will be interesting reading, to me it appears they are adrift in a storm and the rocks are approaching... | ![]() 74tom
12/10/2022 11:41 | During a recession the retail sales numbers - particularly this Christmas - will be horrible. The opposite of what used to be "Santa Rally". All this will mainly hurt retail and cyclical stocks (interacting with consumers). So how on earth can one invest in the midst of such uncertainty ? | ![]() fuji99
12/10/2022 11:01 | Buy2Sell......tell us something we didn't know. All you have said is historic. Today it was announced that GDP in the UK fell unexpectedly in August and there is anticipation of a recession. In the last three months of ASOS's financial year, I suspect they were running at a loss. Overall, I reckon profits will be at the lower end of what they intimated at the last update. All the brokers have the reporting day as TODAY the 12th. Asos site says 19th October. There's obviously some mis-communication going on here. Have they delayed the results? | ![]() simon666 |
