British fashion retailer ASOS has launched a new visual identity for Topshop and Topman and revealed how they will harness their unique heritage as cornerstones of British culture to contribute to ASOS' future growth. The brands were acquired by ASOS in February 2021.Inspired by signage from old Topshop and Topman stores and updated for the future, the visual identity will appear as a new digital storefront on a standalone landing page on ASOS' platform. A new monogram tells the story of two heritage brands, Topshop and Topman, uniting under one banner with a shared DNA, ASOS said in a media release.Known as a fashion authority that captures the spirit of London culture, the new chapter of Topshop and Topman will introduce reinvigorated collections with a focus on quality, design, fit and fabric. This means continuing to elevate and evolve the brand's most popular categories, such as denim, dresses and tailoring, but pushing boundaries to ensure Topshop and Topman empower people to self-express through their choice of clothing. For the first time, Topshop and Topman will introduce inclusive sizing through the Curve range, as well as further investing in its Maternity, Tall and Petite collections. Autumn Winter '22 will also introduce a series of limited-edition pieces which are the purest expression of Topshop and Topman's new vision, with key designs manufactured in the UK, the release added.Topshop and Topman will now also retail in 106 Nordstrom stores in North America.Nikki Tattersall, director of Topshop and Topman, said: "Topshop and Topman are truly iconic British brands, and taking stewardship of such a beloved institution has been a privilege. Over the last 18 months, we have done some incredible work, learning from the past and from each other to create something exciting and relevant for the future. We're so proud to share our new vision with the world, but this is only the first step of the journey. There's a lot more work to do and so many exciting ideas we want to explore."Fibre2Fashion News Des

By Andrew Woods. My growth stock pick for October is ASOS (LSE:ASC). For the years ended August, between 2017 and 2021, earnings per share (EPS) rose from 77.2p to 128.9p. Over this period, the company had a compound annual EPS growth rate of 10.8%. I consider that to be consistent and strong. However, ASOS has been operating in a challenging environment for the retail sector more generally. As the cost-of-living crisis has hit, customers have had less disposable income to spend on clothes. Inflation has also led to shrinking profit margins, as wages and costs increase. The share price reflects these problems, having fallen 82% in the past year.Despite this, sales improved during the summer and the business expects full-year profits to be within the initial guidance range. Another indication that the company is in decent financial shape is its low levels of debt. This means it's potentially well placed to work on expansion as we emerge from the pandemic.

Further evidence that you should AVOID shares in RETAILERS during a Recession
===============================================================================

Profit Warnings from rival clothing retailers PRIMARK (Assoc Brit Foods), Boohoo, JD Sports Fashion, and Next suggests big problems ahead for ASOS.

Rising interest rates means less money to spend on luxuries like new clothes.

USA have it right aggressively raising rates, short term pain for long term gain.UK failing so far so more pain for longer unless BOE action is more aggressive. Think long and hard as painful as it maybe sometimes you have to cut your losses and accept it.Food and energy safe plays in times like these.

Consumer spending is still falling, hence all the PROFIT WARNINGS from PRIMARK (Assoc Brit Foods), JD Sports, Boohoo, Next and more bad news coming from ASOS very soon.

More interest rate rises to come, as the Bank of England tries to steady the GB Pound.

BAD NEWS FOR RETAILERS, but you know that already, because we've been telling you for the last 12 months

Millstone on the other hand will lead into the poor house .
Anyone following his advice over the years has seen their portfolio diminish by as much as 90-95%.

Watch that wolf 🐺 loser also .
That guy is down from over 5000 on this …
AND from £3.70 on boohoo .
Never mind losses elsewhere ..
You gotta laugh at these guys and show them the disrespect they deserve .

Seen this all before swinsco lad .
There are genuine concerns now that this could fold in the not too distant future .
Why would anyone want to go against the plethora of professional hedge funds that are kicking the life out of this ????

Fast fashion = DEAD .

One of these companies or more will cease to exist .

Edit to add this was meant for the boohoo thread …
Yes , I have made a mistake .
