The main choice to make this winter will be whether to heat your house or buy more clothes. This is when retail sale will hit the bottom.

As I have said ASC is a good company but more volatility to come in my opinion. This will be a multibagger once things calm down

Just to add, I actually like ASC and a great opportunity will present itself, just personally think not until UK economics settle ie energy costs and mortgage rates + inflation.

Wolf are you insane and it is obvious you do not understand the basics of economics.Cost of living squeeze mean no free cash to buy clothes. Why do you think ASC, BOO, Next etc all issuing profits warnings. Will it get worse ? Maybe , maybe not but You need to understand the difference between essential and non essential.Food and energy are essential, clothes iPhones etc are non essential.ASC is a good stock but the first to suffer in a recession. Just look at mortgage rates and you think people will still buy ASc clothes ?

The gloom is confirmed by NXT (-8%) today. I wouldn't advise anyone to remain invested on here on the 19th of October (ASC results).

With the pound so low clothes will cost more to make more to ship and more to post and with everything else going up , and interest rate the last thing people will be thinking about is buying new clothes

ASC final results will be released on 19th of October. I cannot see from where any optimism will come from. Adding the extra gloom coming from retail sale numbers this Christmas. Imo, for the long term holders, ASC will be back to life in 12 - 18 months.
