Happy New Year every one.
I note AHT is down 7 to 8% this year and the FTSE only 5 to 6.
For this we have to thank China and the three Hedge funds from across the pond.IMO
The S/P is at a level where I would normally start buying (below the 200day SMA),but recent history and the shorter's leave me perplexed.
Will it go lower ?
I think so, as the shorter's were selling at around 1000.
So I sit with my finger on the trigger in the rain .
I am going to bed and hide under the blanket as the only blue on my screen is BREE and I hate cheese.

So which is stronger? Support at the Daily SMA 200 or desire to fill the gap at 1031?

I can't see anything on the chart or the prospects that suggest it is a buy at this time, if any thing the opposite.

Chartwise the share price continues to make lower lows and lower highs and nothing to suggest it is about to change.

Prospectswise the data from China today adds to the concerns about their manufacturing prospects and an unlikely rise in demand for what AAL produces.

Never mind you still have the grape picking and treading to look forward to.

Meilleur voeux for 2016 from Haute Garonne to all AHT holders and especially to Bracke for all his guidance and persistence explaining the intricacies of 'the gap'!

I can't say I'm much the wiser but willing as ever I've been noticing some wild swings over at bombed out Anglo American lately (AAL) and certainly after the latest volatility today I reckon gaps are appearing all over the place!

If, a big if, there is a base forming around 275p then the potential gaps all the way up to 330p look real to me - or maybe it is just the remains of the sherry doing its worst?!

Sorry for o/t guys but what do you reckon Bracke? Or just too volatile, especially for a committed long like moi?
