Resisted at 2120 but for how long.

Shortly after my earlier comment, I got the 'blue screen of death' syndrome, and had to reboot my PC. I don't know how you did it, I suppose Elite Gurus have mysterious powers, but please desist!

As for the AHT share price, I no longer try to second guess this, it outran my expectations some time ago (and I'm not complaining!).

I am content to just watch with awe and wonder!

SP price action at 2120 may be of interest.

At the current rate of ascent it's likely to be short of 2120 at 06 March but..... previous releases of results usually result in a spike upwards which would see the share price straight through 2120 and on to test the previous intraday high of 2185 and closing high of 2152.

Sooooo a couple of opportunities. Buy now for the spike or WHO SAID THAT! WHO SAID SHORT AFTER THE SPIKE! IT WAS THAT SCRUFFY OIK AT THE BACK WASN'T WHITE MINOR!!

Five hundred lines for you white "I must not mention the 'S' word in connection with our precious".

remember this next Q is their annual weakest set of numbers, so any like for like increase would be spectacular.

One week to go - 'third quarter results for the period ended
31st January 2018 will be announced on Tuesday 6th March 2018.'

It will be interesting to see what the full year outlook estimates look like.

In the meantime AHT has been looking quite perky, although volumes have been a bit lower of late....

The 'slug' of volume arrived and has punched the share price above the Daily SMA50.

Next Move

Push on towards 2130 where it may meet some resistance.

Or

Drop back to test the Daily SMA 50.

S/holders are counting their profits and hoping for another visit to the high then infinity and beyond.

Prospective S/holders are waiting for a sizeable drop before buying.

And the share price still banging its head against the Daily SMA 50.

Not a lot but a reasonable sum.

It's not just trading the market at times of high volatility but also being aware of the way the Spread Bet companies operate when it is occurring. ie. slow to let you out, slow to let you in.
