total manipulation of share price tho imo - mms allowing tiny algo sells to affect share price whilst large buys have no affect. buying in volume above 1000 shares also at higher than offer.

Back in November I posted here my scepticism about ARW’s claim that its always collects more debt than it forecasted at the time of acquisition. The last such claim was 104pct but the FY 2019 presentation does not mention the subject at all. That makes me think there has been a deterioration in collection performance and the short/medium term outlook for collections is surely horrible.

It's a ticky one. Hard to make any collections atm and when this is all over there are going to be a huge amount of distressed assets, which will affect prices and returns...On the other hand it is now very cheap....

Quite amusing this.

Longed a few on the heavy buying (see large print trades from 14.20) when the price was 67p and since that time (on the break of 67p) this stock has literally stayed in auction for pretty much the whole time.

Stock is now at 80p and still in auction now, keeps coming in and out as there are no offers on the book. Will dump into the close and see how the DOW moves overnight.

Just shows violent the moves can be in both directions in this market. Be careful to not be on the wrong side!

As a 15day faller down 75% came to see if any potential recovery or value- Many thanks to recent posters for their insights into the business model - Enought said - will not waste anymore time - lots of better opportunities (imo) to look at during this melt down.

Effortless Cool,

Well well well, you have gone very quiet. My opinion is from someone who knows how the company operates. What is your opinion based on? Is it the first sign of the share-price going up and then reacting after the fact?
The fact is they manged to secure substantial investment which the markets will always react to positively in the short-term. However, my opinion is based on the trajectory of the business in the medium to long-term.
The FTSE has fallen about 25% over the last month. ARW has dropped 75%+ (and continues to fall). This is disproportionate to the rest of the market and highlights the lack of economic robustness the company posses.

ARW has been enthusing about the capital light business model for some time, possibly to deflect attention from the performance of the existing book. The risks to the company of using the capital of others will obviously be lower than when it uses its own capital, but so in theory will be the returns. Has anybody done or seen a comparison of the projected returns between the two models?

Great news yesterday and 100% in-line with what I was hoping for when I originally invested in Arrow. They are gradually moving into an asset light business model. There are some parallels with Intermediate Capital Group. Be nice to see them start an investment trust and spin some assets into that as well.

Hpowell1,

You are presenting speculation as fact. Without putting forward any evidence to back your hypothesis, your opinion is worthless.

Yeah as ever opinions count for nothing - especially on bulletin boards. Just keep following price action and trading the plan
