08/11/2018 13:03 | Many thanks for your opinion wisacre, no doubt you will get the usual nastiness but honest opinion makes a balanced market. I was considering buying a few more at this level but noting your comments i have re-decided. I was considering selling my few before they dropped but missed the boat. theres plenty more fish in the sea so why take a chance. Seems like it could go either way but if the numbers are false tGhen it will eventually come out and longs will suffer. considering offloading at a loss but the usual psycologicals are in play. lol. gla. etc. | stpalm

19/10/2018 14:33 | A debt conference this week highlighted just how parlous the debt collection industries' balance sheets are. I have warned before and I warn again the company's numbers are not to be trusted. | wiseacre
09/10/2018 11:33 | You get a false picture from the figures. The problem is the balance sheet and the amount of debt the company has bought. | wiseacre

31/8/2018 18:49 | There is a point regarding adding in the refinance cost - the 3.9% is understated to the extent that you ignore the refinance costs. This is clearly quite a leveraged model,so it’s a fair point to argue the bull and bear cases. I’m still a bull here, but I’m certainly willing to listen to the bear views. | topvest

30/8/2018 20:49 | He's a liar or a fool or, most probably, both. | effortless cool
30/8/2018 18:45 | 11% debt cost is incorrect. The weighted average cost of debt is 3.9% after refinancing exit costs. I thought the results were good and so did the market. I particularly like the fact that they have, at last, stripped out the asset management results in the segmental reporting. I’d like to see the group broken up into debt portfolio funds and an asset light asset manager, so splitting the results is a good first step. | topvest
30/8/2018 17:08 | He's a chump. | effortless cool
30/8/2018 16:45 | Wiseacre, you are making up numbers. Per the results today: The Groups weighted average cost of debt is 3.9% with an average maturity of 6.3 years. The cost of debt has more than halved since IPO. You should close your short. | rimau1 |
