One of the hedgies has cracked and reduced his short. We've slipped below 9% and down to 6th in the most shorted table

One year ago, the share price was almost the same as it is today. Just under 6% were shorted, a figure which was to double to a peak of 12% in January this year. Today we are down to 9.7%. So wiseacre is right, that short squeeze is very much on

That's brave! From 28th June when you posted you were short again it has moved 20% against you. Going short from here could be a good call as there has to be a pull back at some point. Whether you are right about your fundamental analysis I'm not sure.

I have a small stake and so am just enjoying this run. I'm about 10% up on top of a couple of years of dividends

Have today added to my short position. There could be a further short squeeze but the model is broken and am convinced will win out in the end.

Shorts are down but not significantly - 0.1%. Could be more to announce. I hope Wiseacre and Elcapital 2018 have stopped out

It is a weird share. The business model is strongly underpression: recovery of npls is slowing down and the margins are falling.
The real challenge will be the integration of the companies recently acquired.
The B&S is a question mark: huge cash produced (adjusted) and huge debt to acquire illiquid asets.
All servicers are a big "short" now.

Well again, I wouldn't gloat we all get it wrong some of the time and to be fair wiseacre called it correctly last year all the way down from £4 and got a fair bit of stick for it at the time

I made good money shorting this company last year having the luck to close out at the bottom last December. The management has had to run ever faster to stand still but since their ability to raise more money in the bond market is now restricted the chickens will inevitably come home to roost. IMHO the financial statements of the company are misleading for unsophisticated investors. Have taken out a new short position.

So you're content to hold "heavily underwater"? This movement in the absence of news flow is odd. Could it be recent Draghi comments about more QE in Euroland? Ultra low interest rates is a positive for ARW

Take the recent 8.5p dividend on top of the rise any recent shorters are well down.
