Calm down gents, I know there are a few long term holders on here who are longing to get there mitts on their folding stuff, and want to squeeze as much out of this as they can, and the JV gives you that little bit more in the short term, as that is how you now see this now, short term, and who'd blame you, I would not. But either way this goes it does not take away what AAU have, what they have done or what they are going to do, it just changes the time frame in which we do it. Still a fantastically undervalued company with massive upside, some can wait longer than others, it's going to be a good day. week, month, year. ;)

I'll go with that BigglesB. On a personal note the share price is now hovering around my target (yes..I can't believe it was on a longer term basis when I first invested here!). But now I'm older and don't intend to wait for Salinbas etc to come on stream. So the JV had better happen right now for me and pay out some divvi for starters..

My personal view is both parties are happy with one another and let's face it why not ? Let's logically look at it : AAU is doing exactly what was expected and due diligence came back great. The new potential partner still has the clout AAU are looking for. So let's draw a conclusion the deal is done. As anyone knows it's then about the lawyers. When you get paid by the hour and you can hide behind covid which lawyer wouldn't drag their feet. So I believe deal done but bloody lawyers are to blame and no matter who you are you are at the mercy of lawyer speak for "this is going to take time and cost you more money". Hope that doesn't sound too cynical but think you'll find that's what's happening.

Paul.....Might be our joint venture partner who might be dragging their feet...might be nothing to do with AAU...As someone said earlier ,once corporate lawyers get involved, they can sure drag things out to get a nice fat fee......lol Anyway, result wont be known until they decide to tell us...not worth fretting over weekend about it....We still got a wee peach of a company....The JV will give us a huge wad of cash, and enable us to open up other fronts quicker......We will see......

We will have to wait and see what the delay is about before making any judgements. Not long to wait now

I'm in agreement with sonoftherock. I invested in a company that didn't appear to lack the ability to make quick and accurate decisions, that may have been because of it's size, the strong family connections and a BOD who seemed to work well together. These delays in agreeing the new JV makes me wonder if we will now have shares in a company who are unable to make those decisions without it going through multiple channels of management, committee reports, outside consultants and years of consideration. I just hope not.

cssf, thanks for getting back...my pea sized brain with 1 cell to handle all processing can't fathom your pearls of wisdom...but i've grown old living with my limitations, so thanks anyway.

I can do patient, but I have to agree that another delay would be hard to stomach. The prospective new JV partner is supposed to be one that can bring a lot to the table, but I would hope that includes the ability to make decisions. If it is a delay, I'd expect a proper explanation as to what the issue is.Imagine what it could be like if and when they own 53%?

It is getting something compared to pathetic when a company cannot see a dollar to be made at Tavsan alone.....ffsk timezone them.

I’ve never known a sector in which you can wait literally one or two generations to get your pay out.

The PM sector must operate on some alternative sort of space time continuum clock thingy...

I don't trust lawyers especially when they get paid by hour so who knows how long they will take?

Without any institutional support AAU are dependent on PI's supporting any JV deal and voting their approval. Some come on Kerim, give us something worth approving please :-)

To be strictly fair they did say that they were going to take until the end of June to evaluate (re-evaluate?), but that might not necessarily mean making an announcement within June. Just a thought...

I just hope that if there is another delay to finalising the new JV we get a little more details and a confirmation of the agreement as it stands at present, together with any parts that still need to be sorted out.
