30/6/2019 05:01 | Gold / Siler ratio now basically 91.8. 90 represented a 28 year high. As the gold breakout is in the bag, notwithstanding the expexted normal corrections it looks very much like the market is blinkered. Silver is going to take off in the next few weeks like a scolded car | crossfirecssf
29/6/2019 19:58 | Oh dear my computer and advfn are not getting on to-day, must be the heat making it collapse in a sad heap on the floor. For the fifth and last time of trying to do this message - Biggles i believe they have already mentioned a interest in commodities, do you think there is a reason for it being mentioned again ? ie a interest in a non-au licence ? buying into another small commodity company ? | swallowsflysouth
29/6/2019 17:37 | They said that last October | bigglesbingham
29/6/2019 17:27 | Oh dear Jc, is up on twitter from proactive, bearly worth reading just says about AAU interest in other commodities. | swallowsflysouth
29/6/2019 12:28 | It clearly doesn't like that link! | jc2706
29/6/2019 12:25 | Sorry JC, is straightful article regarding possible direction of AAU into other commodities not to the exclusion of au but just a expansion of possibilities. [...] | swallowsflysouth
29/6/2019 12:20 | Very significant that gold has held most of its gains at a week, month and quarter close. Daily closes are good but the longer the period, the more significant it is. We may see some consolidation (perhaps on the back of G20 statements) but I suspect that this will be more of a running correction (often represented by a 'flag' formation). We shall see. | jc2706
29/6/2019 12:08 | Major breakout the other week, gold flying. With gold above $1360 multi year resistance gold target 1500-1600. Chart targeting 4-5p assuming $1360 holds. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ileeman

28/6/2019 23:41 | Plas - I was pleased to see the valuable feedback of course. The other thing I mentioned only because it seemed such a contrast to this thread. JD - I take your point about the gold price and Salinbas results, nothing is certain but I think there is sufficient enthusiasm among those in the know to make me think Salinbas has something special in store. Call it a gut feeling if you like lol. | charles clore
28/6/2019 23:26 | That's not really that representative of posters on LSE Charles and I was in fact trying to draw attention to the positive feedback from the Thursday shareholder meeting at Panmure Gordon. Three attendees have provided feedback including myself. | plasybryn
28/6/2019 22:55 | Charles, I largely agree with your optimism, but the only thing pretty much for certain is that the loan will be repaid. Cant say for certain that Gold will hit new highs (its backed off since mid week) or that Salinbas results will be good. Even if good it may not lift the share price, we've certainly see that before. Many investors may be sitting on 100% profit on their holdings and bills to pay! | jaynesdad
28/6/2019 21:36 | Plas - I just had a peek at the LSE thread and was surprised to see quite a few talking about topslicing. I couldn't quite believe my eyes I can tell you. These guys have been patiently waiting years for the company to come good and the minute it does, they want to jump ship or take a few percent profit off the table. This is precisely the time to be holding or adding, not selling imho. There will be plenty of new investors looking to buy in the near future when a) gold hits new highs, b) the bank loan is repaid and not least c) drilling news is released on Salinbas and this will lift the price to a level not seen for many moons. The company has at last started to gain traction after many years of struggling. The future is looking good and the real gains are yet to come. Now is not the time to be thinking about selling (imho). | charles clore
28/6/2019 19:32 | Feedback on the shareholder meeting over on LSE. | plasybryn
28/6/2019 17:24 | JC, This is one of the options outside of Salinbas that i like. [...] Soulsauce, I think Charles is right, par for the course. Nothing to worry about a nice rise again to end the day. | swallowsflysouth
28/6/2019 17:04 | soul - Nigel Somerville and followers taking profits again? I'm surprised they have any left to be honest. Have a great weekend everyone. | charles clore
28/6/2019 16:00 | Same old pattern today, nice early rise sold in to but intra day highs appear to be increasing. | soulsauce
28/6/2019 15:19 | We need to see what the results are first up. There will be many options if they start looking like Hot Maden II. | jc2706
28/6/2019 15:05 | This is true Biggles but not with Hot Maden, it might be that they are incompatible projects in anycase but if they are not, then if could be a different kettle of fish and in everyone's interests to have one massive mining operation. | swallowsflysouth
28/6/2019 12:53 | I don't think that will happen. They are more a royalties company and ventured into production. They have 182 royalties I believe . I maybe wrong . | bigglesbingham |
