As there are always people in the world that are potentially faster than Bolt so there are companies with more growth potential than AAU but the important aspect is the risk/reward. Personally I think that ALTN could rise more but then the risk is greater.

madmas the other stock I see with this kind of potential is ARC Minerals, they also seem to be coming to life with an active drilling program in Africa- Zambia.

I pretty sure next week at the earliest. I believe Kerim has been away but back in Turkey next week. Don't forget they have also to complete and sign off the Preliminary results which could also come very soon. They will hopefully want to spread the news to maximise impact.

DM, drilling results always seem to take ages, but have always been good.

Lol... works both ways, but the intended interpretation was that the 'sheople' herd mentality takes over and there's a stampede for the entrance (yes the entrance). The likes of you and I quietly use the opportunity to sell-up, exit stage left and quietly set about cruising the med.

Approaching that time of year when sentiment is such that good reasons are needed to encourage share price rises, or indeed prevent the falls. "grossly undervalued" just isn't enough. Roll on the drilling reports.

JaynesDad - hyperbole I suspect! But seriously I do think we are already in the very early stages of a new bull market now so I do expect this to multi bag. Valuations will rise and rise over time and that, in conjunction with (hoped for) increases in productivity (Tavsan, Kizilcukur etc) plus some substantial exploration upside should see our investment do very well here. I concur with bigglesbingham it is strange that so many are selling. Very short term attitude I suppose, the ‘wall of worry’ that we will climb.

Beautiful consolidation going on , mirroring that of POG. Sentiment change is slowly turning. If/when POG gets silly and junior miners are all the rage, sell. Buy at 2.5p now for 25p in 2-3 years time...

Also Tavsan update at some point fairly soon as we work towards an EIA & IFS by year end.But the Salinbas 2000m drill results due this month is what I'm really looking forward too.

So much news due, 2nd qtr figs, drilling update, new project? gold and silver finally on a bull run. Why sell at this possibly critical turning point for AAU unless you really need the cash? just my opinion.

Charles - don’t forget we are 50% JV partners so it’s half the cash figure you quote but my point is it’s all adding extra to the bottom line Plasbryns point about the silver credit is true either way because their price either includes or excludes silver.

I feel that the share price is still more influenced by PI’s and we’ve seen some selling by pis on the back of the shareprophets ‘advice’ about top slicing. Very shortsighted imo.

dibs - so if we multiply a target of 25k oz by $100 we should be making another $2.5m. Putting that into the equation we should be roughly 7% higher than the PG target price = 3.4p

To put the finance side of things in perspective Panmure Gordon’s earnings forecasts, which produce a target price of 3.18p are based on a gold price roughly $100 cheaper than the current price.

As ever AAU is guided by PI interest, of which there is very little this morning. May be people are wary of adding ahead of drilling results. As has been said though the PoG will all be adding to the bottom line.
