07/5/2024 22:28 | I think it's poignant that the Rockover vote is four week before AAH and revised PFS due shortly ie just after Rockover vote . If it's as good as they are implying then they may get twitchy. Just putting it out there. | bigglesbingham
07/5/2024 20:50 | Fair point ex, but gold is already sitting above $2300 with some pundits saying we are at the start of a 10 year bull run, so I would actually call $2000 pretty conservative. | charles clore
07/5/2024 19:58 | Gold has been on a great run, and it may continue, but is using $2000 per ounce conservative? Aren't the JPMs of this world sitting on lower estimates, $1850 or $1900? | excellance
07/5/2024 19:43 | I would tend to agree, CC. I believe you and I have probably been here for a similar time (10 years or so). I don't mind people that underpromise and overdeliver, but if he is going to attract institutional investment, as he has suggested, then he has to turn Ariana into a compelling investment opportunity and finally deliver some shareholder value. I believe Dokwe is that good opportunity as I have mentioned, but I'm also encouraged by the wider landscape for gold, their expanded board, their use of well known experienced partners and the ASX / dual listing to finally get some decent new brokers. Has he timed this perfectly, let's hope so for all us long termers! | 5huu
07/5/2024 19:21 | 5huu - one thing I have learned about Kerim is that he is very conservative. If he even hints at a positive outcome then that will be the absolute baseline. Personally I don't mind whether we get capital growth or dividends. I'll take either or both. My first tranche of 1m will be sold at 10p which I think is possible this year or early next. But I'm in no rush, though. I'm not desperate for the cash so content to let the story play out and see what develops. | charles clore
07/5/2024 19:20 | I’m one that would prefer dividends but if the share price goes up 6percent a day I’ll be happy | paul280i
07/5/2024 19:00 | I might be totally wrong, but I have a feeling when they re-run the PFS numbers and factor in a GP of 2000 dollars / oz, this might just look very attractive. It should certainly shift the risk reward ratio. In their current timing plan, that news might not be far away. I'm assuming short term Dividends will be sacrificed, which to some will be a genuine issue, which I feel is the main difference between some posters here. Nothing wrong with that though, as we all have different timeframes and expectations, but this board is one of the best Ive ever come across to politely debate them. Long may that continue. | 5huu
07/5/2024 18:13 | I think the header needs a few updates. | excellance

07/5/2024 17:01 | A wee bit condescending that post Charles 🤔 | soulsauce
07/5/2024 16:31 | Lovely example of a post-shock reversal today. Initial disbelief turned into gradual acceptance and finally quite frankly the market might eventually embrace it. Obviously there will always be a few naysayers but for those (of us) with vision this looks like a route to success. | charles clore
07/5/2024 14:46 | Hehe, no worries pal :-D | shortarm

07/5/2024 14:12 | Is Zimbabwe allowed to export gold? Companies are required to export all minerals through the state-owned Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe (MMCZ), except gold which must be sold to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe's (RBZ) subsidiary Fidelity Printers and Refiners (FPR).29 Feb 2024 Any idea at what price? Soŕry to be on the helicopter again ... completely unimportant i agrèe. I am just waisting my time with virtual curiosity | kaos3
