12/5/2024 11:22 | And I didn't think anyone could spell Tavsan worse than you bigglesbingham 🤣 excellance Zenit already have $10m stashed. Please show your working? | soulsauce
12/5/2024 10:38 | Your being too optimistic they have said they will be winding kiz down over next few years. | bigglesbingham
11/5/2024 21:01 | So guidance for Zenit is 23.5% of 20,000 Oz Au for 2024, which includes Kiziltepe and high grade Taslan ore shipped by truck 130km, and the heap leach plant should come on line at the end of the year for Taslan low grade ore, so next year the combined Zenit project should yield 23.5% of between 40k and 50k Oz au, and that could run for ten years. That's about 9,400oz net to AAU minus costs of production including trucking 260km round trip. Zenit project operating profit this year could be about £5m, which already has $10m stashed away in their safe. Next year profit could be double that depending on price of gold and costs, and could run for ten years. AAU MO would be to sell that, so what would it be worth? It would go a long way towards costs at Dokwe. | excellance
11/5/2024 14:55 | Thanksamillion I think we are assured of quite a bit of newsflow. There are bound to be frequent RNS as the Rockover vote nears, plus announcements as Tavsan comes on line, maybe with 'X' photos of first ore of trucked ore at Kiziltepe and of the heap leach as its completed on site at Tavsan. Hopefully all set against a continued drift upwards of PoG. | jaynesdad
11/5/2024 13:15 | What is really going on with Venus? They have delayed the IPO for a year now, and with the ASX dual listing have now said the IPO is suspended indefinitely. In interviews they say that Venus is still an active project but I don't see evidence of a budget or a plan for that. The excuse given is that the complexities of the ASX listing process means that the Venus IPO can't go ahead, but surely that line is nonsense. So what is really going on, what is the real plan for Venus in the post ASX listing world? Could it be that the structure of AAU is planned to change and that Dokwe/Venus will be spun off into a new IPO, fully funded, with AAU and partners as major holders? | excellance
11/5/2024 08:41 | Bit of psychology involved as well methinks. Holders finally accepting how good this deal is, tempting low sp, better comms and news from the company confirming positive views, price goes up, feel good factor and hopes of more good news in the near future. Need the news flow to continue now to fuel the next rises, and the word to start getting around as I believe the recent rise comes from existing holders only. | thanksamillion
11/5/2024 00:05 | The sort of recovery we are all pleased to see. Monday we were still feeling depressed when it finished at 2.30p. Tuesday finished at 2.40p; Wednesday 2.50p; Thursday at 2.60p and Friday finished at 2.70p. Somewhat thanks to a bit more positivity on the RNS front. | coachsailor
10/5/2024 16:51 | I'm really looking forward to the time when AAU is listed on the ASX. Lots more exposure and more. I must have a look at the listing requirements. Should get more broker coverage too. | charles clore
10/5/2024 16:15 | More like it happy weekend everyone | bigglesbingham
10/5/2024 16:02 | Rennicks....time now for me I think to spend spare cash enjoying retirement rather than saving. Certainly not selling any time soon, and if this goes as we think it will, the future looks even brighter Yes kaos3, chart looks brilliant, still standing by my huge cup and handle theory, and today saw a failed attempt to take it down ....IMHO. | thanksamillion
10/5/2024 15:57 | uf CC ... from the cave | kaos3
10/5/2024 15:55 | Huffster - interesting to note that the share price is currently less than half the WHI fair value figure. Also note that once the Rockover deal is signed they will HAVE TO increase it. Go break a leg you dummies! | charles clore
10/5/2024 15:19 | another good chart signal ... 2 days ago golden cross on the D for those who care cant post the chart unfortunately from where i am edit well i managed | kaos3
10/5/2024 15:11 | Me too! But mines not the last ;) | renniks2016
10/5/2024 14:49 | WH IRELAND summaries - upwards revision of target price NOTE 1 We continue to see fair value at 5.5p (ex-Dokwe) and before we update our long-range mine plan expectations for the Kiziltepe-Tavsan operation. NOTE 2 We continue to view the Dokwe acquisition as a low-risk and value-additive purchase. Today’s news that in the current price environment the economics improve is no real surprise and is only the first step, in our view, in highlighting the further improvements to come with an expected (WHI view) larger resource and inclusion of Dokwe Central into the mine plan and potentially producing at higher levels of up to 100koz gold per year. We make no change to our fair value in Ariana of 5.5p today but note that we expect that once the deal with Rockover is finalised, that we will have to move our fair value upwards. | huffster
10/5/2024 09:56 | Topped up for last time today, just a little one. | thanksamillion
09/5/2024 19:52 | We know the numbers, and we know that KS or was it MDV said they'd fund from banks, ie loans, and they also said that current holders could participate (open offer or rights issue) but if they intend on going for an ASX IPO there has to be an equity element. I don't trust TW and his shorting chums, but then again I don't trust anyone, but on this I'll agree with him. | excellance
09/5/2024 19:33 | Good old Tom, must have been giving his crystal balls a good rub :-/ | soulsauce
09/5/2024 18:31 | Well, whatever else you chaps may think this Dokwe deal has certainly cracked AAU out of its slumber. | excellance
09/5/2024 15:53 | Ozaltin Insaat Ticaret Ve A.S. is a company based in Turkiye, with its head office in Ankara. The company operates in the Site Preparation Contractors industry. The company was established on January 01, 1972. The total number of employees is currently 1,075 (2024). The company’s latest financial report indicates a net sales revenue drop of 14.15% in 2022. Its’ total assets recorded a growth of 115.8%. | kaos3
09/5/2024 15:30 | Yes but it has clearly been stated in the past that the work at Salinbas has been funded by Ozaltin but the work has been done by Ariana. Something I'm going to get to the bottom of next week at the one to one. My view is Ozaltin want to develop their gold side and have a full time director in place so we will see. | bigglesbingham

09/5/2024 14:43 | Depends when you start looking for a new job. 2-3 years out not 7-10 and that as a backlog not doing both jobs simultanously Because going for new job in parralel with the old one spreads disposable assets and focus and increases complexity in lowers quality of doing the original job Consequence is lower quality eg return per unit eg shareholder value per existing share or hour (on a personal level) Focus and concentration always win in physics (concentrated water cutting steal, laser light too), social science (NGOs), war (seals) etc | kaos3 |
