In one sense you are quite right, JAF1948. Of course, they know what ‘nominal’; means, but most simply see 25,000 oz per annum.

As I've said many times, there is in my opinion a desperate need to bring new blood onto the Board. A "City" savvy, Business Development Director who can strengthen and challenge this moribund dictatorial, "couldn't care less" Board. It is never a good idea having a Geologist as a CEO. As for the Chairman, well what can one say.
Behind it all is the fact that they don't need shareholders and therefore they don't want us. We are currently there just to be tolerated at best and parcelled off to Yellow Jersey acting as a solid buffer to the Co. Can't see it will ever change unless shareholders demand it or the Board changes.

For many years, I too believed that the BoD of Ariana were not very good at their communications mainly because they were scientists and not businessmen but no longer. Their ability to obfuscate both in RNSs and Q&A sessions has risen to the level of an art form and I am sure they are totally aware of what they are saying.

It’s a significant skill to communicate to a wide audience – unfortunately, a PhD programme does not require the development of such a skill. Post-Doc experience often further reduces the probability that such a skill will be developed. Kerim needs some help and, in that regard, the Chairman comes up short. Eventually, the numbers will do the talking ………; (hopefully!)

It hasn't pal it's just the rns came out at the time we were expecting guidance and they came out with 25k Oz 10 years. Obviously this isn't guidance and is the effective guaranteed amount if no other resource discovered or turned into reserves. The issue was I thought it could have been clearer in terms of offering some comment stating guidance will be offered in due course. The rns is great news but again poor wording detracted from the message for me, and many others.

I would much prefer they offered up decent communication and PR as a given than do these one off exercises where they only seem half interested, always on the defensive and take no ownership of shareholder gripes.

Plus ore from the Satellites. But yes the impact on AISC etc pales into insignificance compared to understanding the guidance production numbers. Does this compromise affect the stated levels of production. What is the 25000 oz per annum nominal figure which is approx half what we are expecting.Understandable people got the jitters or do you see it differently?

i thought kiz will process satelites for another 10 years full kapacity. amen

and tavsan will be built to process tavsan asap and increase the total output.
if and when kiz ore is finished - tavsan ore can go there

i never thought that tavsan ore will squeeze out kiz ore processing to a degree.

i admit.

I honestly do not understand what all the fuss is about! They have said they are doing both, heap leaching the lowest grades and trucking the highest, we all know that Kizil only have a couple of years left to date, this keeps the mill going for another 10 years! I can't believe that this has been missed by all here. Or is it just me?

Yellow Jersey have informed me this morning that we will all get the opportunity to put our questions to the Co quite soon as they are planning to host another Investor Meet Co webcast event. No date stated as yet. They just say it will be announced in due course so don't hold your breath.

Awful lot of speculation about the trucking issue.
With margins increasing it makes sense to me to truck ore to a process that, apparently and I know only what I read, allows a better recovery rate.
Use of the plant rather than leaching seems preferable to me on ecological grounds, again I know little but I believe cyanide is used so its a trade off diesel particulates vs cyanide is a no brainer.
The black cloud today rightly expressed the fear that the proposal to truck indicates a problem at the Tavsan leaching plant, but that is speculative until an announcement is made. I am prepared to see it as a positive development, prompted by that discovery that has emerged that Tavsan is more than an extensive area of only low grade ore, but one with higher grade deposits also. The picture there has changed recently, and for the good.

I think it's simple low grade goes through heap leach , much higher grade found at tarsvan making it viable to process at Kiz. The question is how much do they intend to process at each.

it looks to me like utilisation improvement of the present infrastructure... optimisation of present processing resources, to speed up cash generation....

and tavsan ORE will be replacing near by kiz ore...... wow and strange by my intuition. as far i can see it is not about having spare capacity but running highest grade ore at hand.

and tavsan plant building solved ... no problems,,, we are efficiently processing it at kiz. ommiting saying to the less kiz ore processed. which was my original first post today.

i am looking for the terms ... gold leaching plant vs gold processing plant

in all gold processing plants that i found so far is gold chemistry solvent phase included

so .. can one help me with 2 links

1. tavsan gold ore treatment plant /leaching process/
vs
2. Kiziltepe gold plant /no leaching or what/

i can not find major chemical and crushing differences despite looking

One thing we all know is Kerim is no fool. He is, however, a very poor communicator of strategic ideas. From what I can see there are some cracking reasons for ore shipment from Tavsan to Kiziltepe but unfortunately none of them originate from our genius miner and CEO. This means that AAU will probably be lost among the sargasso sea of hopefuls until somebody "discovers" the company in a few years when an unbelievable profit is posted. I wish someone would just give him a good shake!!

Soul, I have to take exception to your evaluation of YJ. Chocolate teapots are made of chocolate which is tasty and can be eaten, possibly improving mood.I evaluate YJ to be as much use as a chocolate coc* at a lesbia* diet convention!Not entirely PC that.
