Plas, most investors have probably never heard of AAU. Of those that have, most may well consider 5.5p fair value but still not wish to buy. Mister Market decides the sp, and he is never concerned about things like fair value. Personally I think it will take us longer to get from 4 to 5 than from here to 4. So setting the next book at 5 would make sense. My guess would be 5 working days before Xmas.I reckon the share price has broken out of its downtrend. When it did so last summer it managed to get to 3 before aborting. This time I think it will carry on. Higher highs and higher lows will be the confirmation.

I'll keep this short, I do like the way this has risen with very little additional comments on the board and no new members, indicates there is more potential when the word does start to spread.

What about the Brokers target of 5.5p. If you value Salinbas/Ardale sensibly as they do, 5.5p seems fair value. Most investors have yet to value it correctly.

If you want to run a book for 4p you might want to get a move on. I think we could be there sooner than most think.Is it time to get a shotgun and load up on bottled water and tins of baked beans ?

Otavio on X this afternoon:- Renniks follows him i believe.The ratio between junior and senior gold miners just poked its head out of a nearly 15-year resistance. This is a healthy sign that the recent runup in precious metals is starting to propel the riskier segments of this industry to outperform the more established companies. Strong returns are necessary to offset the high risk involved in smaller businesses, and it appears that we are in the early stages of this trend.

Go away for a few days and look what happens!! Whilst I'm an optimistic guy, I don't think I'm over optimistic. Well may be a tad on the 3p mark guess. Not a bad start to the week.

Ariana Resources (AAU) is nearing completion of the construction of its second mine in Turkey – confirmation of which, later this year, will surely trigger a re-rating. There is also the stalled IPO of Venus Minerals which may, with copper prices having advanced, see the light of day before too long. There is also the potential blockbuster at Salinbas. But even ignoring the maybes and what-ifs, two producing mines (Tavsan with planned 30,000 oz per year, and Kiziltepe with perhaps a further 15,000-20,000) will transform Ariana’s prospects going forward.
