Captain Kirk: I see you sold your Ariana shares today, Mr Spock.
Mr Spock: Affirmative, Captain, it was the logical thing to do
Captain Kirk: There will be two productive mines by the end of 2024
Mr Spock: That is speculation not fact
Captain Kirk: Common sense says you should have kept them at this point
Mr Spock: There is a difference between common sense and logic

they monetized 2 projects /ozaltin jv/ and one asgard in the deep history. in 20 years or something. a track record for sure.

so many projects to be monetized on their hands. hardly wait.

specially i am enthusiastic about Leopard. so many good news coming out of this prospective Leopard area.

and constantly gathering more and more projects to be monetized. blue sky potential i agree

Agree with you on this, as said before, they are geologists first and foremost, with exploration at their heart, they have developed a model to enable them to do this as they choose and no longer dictated by financial constraints. Once they have Tavsan up and running along side Kiziltepe thing will look different, a lot different. Look what BHP are doing with XPlor their £500k into Pallas with no dilution for example, we were their 18 months ago, with consultancy cost covered with shares, (same as PNT) 8% holding in daughter company. Yes all long term stuff, but very exciting and have huge blue sky potential.

plasybryn, thanks for posting that. i have for some time thought aau are going for the 'prove up and sell' approach for at least some of the assets, or as i prefer to call it 'add value and sell' as you may have seen from some of my earlier posts, because value accretion could happen at various stages not just at proving up.

op suggests it could be hiz, i dont disagree, it very well may be. i think ks has dokwe lined up for this also and it could happen sooner, hiz is likely harder to achieve value add and may be earlier stage than dokwe.

anyway, most interesting.

Shortarm: I think these are the two posts on LSE you are referring too. Salinbas mine No. 3 and Dividends.

I wrote to the Co. (via Yellow Jersey) about Salinbas Mine production back in December 2023 after the last Presentation to Investors at Mines & Money. This is my question and the reply I got.

My Question: The Zenit: Growing Production slide shows Salinbas in production in 2025. Is this still correct or is it the aim to sell this once the resource is JORC proven to a reasonable size?

A: 2026 is the year shown in the graph. We have not made any commitments to production at Salinbas - it is simply a projection of what might be possible. At present, we are only focused on drilling and expanding our understanding of the potential.

I also asked this question re: dividends.

Question: Reference dividends, Kerim wasn't very clear on when he expected the Co. to adopt this "capital discipline". He said - " Once Tavsan is on stream and some other projects I've been talking about". What are these "other projects" and what does this mean more specifically for timescales?

A: We have been clear on this point for years: profitable production from Tavsan is key to unlocking the potential for future dividends. The other projects referred to relate to any one of our investments potentially. If any one of these is successful and yields a substantial capital return beyond our immediate requirements, we will look to pay dividends accordingly. In other words, dividends do not necessarily relate to those derived from production but could be deal- related too.

My comment/observation:
I think they will look to accelerate and then monetise certain assets like they did very successfully with lithium in Australia a few years back. Do you recall. That was small beer, but a great return on their investment. The big one could be Hizarliyayla of course. How transformational could that be? It hasn't been easy to get to the deep high grade (Brechia Pipe) type mineralisation, but let's hope 2024 will reveal something extraordinary. But I think they have this plan of "prove up and sell" for other assets as well. We shall see. Obviously they have to play these cards close to their chest one assumes.

Excellent posts Re Salinbas and Divis on LSE, why not post them here where there is a much larger following?

Regarding guidance, Kerim did say in the presentation that they would begin mining Banu vein in the next few weeks. Banu is higher grade and he also said there was a little bit of high grade left at Kepez to mine (highest grade into Kiziltepe if I remember)?

The Co. didn't release "Guidance" till the 15th March last year! Hedging your bets somewhat.

Well of course they are, I am simply questioning when that will be coming. Committed and planning but nothing laying out a plan and telling you as a shareholder that when Tavsan is in full production a dividend 'will' be paid.

I do not think it was a throwaway comment at all! Watch the 30th November presentation, they are VERY committed to dividends for shareholders!

Plasybryn 21917, indeed.

Shortarm 21918, 'planning for long term dividend stream' - bit of a throw away comment don't you think? I am sure most juniors with any production are planning for dividends.
All I am saying is don't guarantee on getting it when Tavsan is in full production.

zangdook lol.

More HM holes - very deep these though:
The Hot Maden assay results have been reported from two drill holes. HTD–111 is a step-out core hole drilled along the southwest side of the southern zone and HTD-128 is an infill core hole drilled within the Main Zone. Highlights from these drill results include:

HTD-111: 26.0 meters @ 4.4 g/t gold and 0.57% copper
HTD-128: 105.5 meters @ 17.4 g/t gold and 2.34% copper

I am not necessarily a believer that Hizzy is another Hot Maden but a tenth of these results would be something special!
.
A reminder:
Drill hole HTG-002 showed 85.3 metres at 84.3 grams per tonne gold and 6.8% copper from 19.0 metres, using a 2.4 g/t cut-off grade. Drill holes HTG-002 and HTG-003 are infill drill holes within the main deposit at Hod Maden.

Thanks soulsauce. Valid comments as always. What really stuns me is, if this list is anywhere near right, why isn't the Co. using this moment to communicate the strongest set of deliverables in the Co's history. I would be embarrassed by the share price but knowing all this is coming onto the table, i would be wanting to spell it out in clear, easy to understand terms. Appealing to potential new investors. Setting out all the projects on an easy to follow Gantt Chart of course.
