19/1/2024 09:33 | Are we saying they paid out too much in special dividends if they (JV) is now having to curtail the pace at which Tavsan comes into production. This seems a new angle we were not aware off. Is it mismanagement or by design. I don't see why they would have to borrow from a Turkish Bank. Why not Australian or a UK Bank. As is far too common, i get the feeling we might have been given only the part of the story they want us to hear. | ![]() plasybryn
19/1/2024 08:53 | As far as I am concerned AAU run to their own time agenda, in the best interests of the company as they see it. Shareholders really have no benefit to them (so ironic that they want to list Venus, albeit very slowly). I cannot see this method ever changing. | ![]() dixi
19/1/2024 08:43 | They can only throw off money from kiziltepe at a finite rate and as this is what's being used for tarsvan then that dictates the main pace. I'd rather no debt than being held to ransom by Turkish banks thank you. | ![]() bigglesbingham
19/1/2024 08:01 | I love you really. Whoops. Anyone for a start up of Salinbas mine 3 in 2025. More flying pigs. Do they really believe these statements or is it just to appease us the gullible shareholders. I'll go back in my hole now. Sorry to be so cynical. | ![]() plasybryn
19/1/2024 07:17 | Being sceptical, i just wonder if the Board have been in no rush to get Tavsan into production. As long as Kiziltepe limps along generating cashflow they can delay Tavsan a bit longer so cashflow for the future is maximised in year terms. They might see this as important as their progress on Salinbas in particular (mine 3) has been nothing short of Spanish (manana) and most other hairbrain ideas take us into the next decade.. Apologies any Spanish - i love really. Sorry Ariana - just a bit of fun or true. | ![]() plasybryn
19/1/2024 06:00 | We? 23.5 percent - remember ? We do not find the whole lot! | ![]() shortarm
18/1/2024 23:58 | so after paying a dividend whose only purpose was to be able to say we pay dividends, we're now hamstrung by lack of cash | zangdook
18/1/2024 20:55 | Actually shortarm I think funding the development to production purely using income from Kiziltepe without recourse to debt finance is a major display of confidence. I am therefore leaving my predictions as they are. | ![]() charles clore
18/1/2024 20:06 | All correct Jaf apart from it is MdV on the wall. Well I think it is important to revere the brains of the outfit 🤣 | ![]() soulsauce
18/1/2024 19:42 | So is it true, soulsauce, that you now sleep in an Ariana tee-shirt, have a picture of Kerim on the wall and sing three verses of the company song every night before going to bed ? | ![]() jaf1948
18/1/2024 18:38 | 'Unclear' pretty synonymous with many Ariana Rns's, no need to be sat down for that one. But that's why I love them so much 😏 | ![]() soulsauce
18/1/2024 18:29 | Nigel Somerville: (hope Soul is already sat down)..From my point of view, to fund construction entirely from cashflow is a pretty heroic achievement! Also unclear was the statement about Kiziltepe mining operations being brought to a close over the next few years. But then we are told that various satellite sources in the vicinity of Kiziltepe are being studied and identified, which suggests that the Kiziltepe plant has a few more years ahead. | ![]() shortarm
18/1/2024 18:03 | Xow, you'll have to take 32nd December! | ![]() shortarm
18/1/2024 17:35 | I'm sticking with mine because I believe in this company, it's mgt and everything they do 🤣 | ![]() soulsauce
18/1/2024 17:16 | In that case, can I put mine in on the 31st December? | ![]() xow98
18/1/2024 17:07 | I want to change mine as well after the Tavsan news yesterday, but would ideally like to wait for Co's 2024 Guidance, if that is allowed. This should gives us an idea on both Kiziltepe & Tavsan production numbers for 2024 which will make up a large part of the price projection. | ![]() plasybryn
18/1/2024 16:13 | Since closing date is January 31st for thanksamillion's contest, I will make it the same for mine. In the light of yesterday RNS, I would like to change my year high to 2.8p and year end to 2.6p. I will also change my 3p date to December 31st, as I now do not believe we will reach 3p this year. | ![]() jaf1948
18/1/2024 16:10 | Found some change, the 85,611 buy is mine. | ![]() nov31

18/1/2024 15:14 | Not sure why some are still shocked at big sells. It has been going on for so long that it just seems par for the course now. And still no tr1s. | ![]() soulsauce
18/1/2024 15:14 | The consequences of past investment decisions inevitably affect the future outcomes, be they positive or otherwise. We are witnessing a result of this that has nothing to do with the actions of AAU. | ![]() charles clore
18/1/2024 14:28 | Notices is hereby given that the allocation date of the Distribution is set for 19 January 2024. The final ratio has been calculated at 1.32973066 Greatland shares for every one share of the Company. This is against the previously advised approx. ratio of 1.33 Greatland shares for every one share of the Company in the Notice to Shareholders on 27 October 2023. Assume AAU will be similar, but can't see a notification specific to AAU | ![]() xow98
18/1/2024 14:04 | Was anyone on here a Starvest holder that could inform us when they receive / have received their AAU shares from the liquidators? | ![]() doinnuthing |
