'In an ideal world, the role of the Chairman should be for a period of somewhere between 5 – 8 years. Such a time frame provides consistency, minimises churn and the cost of such situations and provides for orderly renewal, all of which is both good governance and good for the organisation.

Recruitment of board members should be made with a succession plan in mind;
Long periods of Chairmanship tenure is generally not good for the organisation – complacency and group think can set in and other board members can abdicate their responsibilities due to the situation;
and
Renewal at all levels of the organisation, at appropriate times, is fundamental to long term success – no one is sole custodian of any position'

Quite right biggles, I have no desire to take part in such a pointless exercise especially when you already knew the holdings on here were over 15%.
Like I said last time (and the time before) when you were drumming up support for some potential shareholder action due to yours and others frustrations, I have greater than zero and less than 1m.
So now just about everyone on here has told the world what they own, in the words of the O'Jays - 'now you got it what you gonna do with it'?

The company is on the cusp of bringing a second mine into production thereby giving an opportunity to introduce a lasting regular return to shareholders on their investment in the form of dividends. This should end the slow bleed and complete the transformation to a company that is seen as successful.

Bigglesbingham there is a very real situation that needs attention. Xow has brought it up on several occasions.
So what are you ultimately trying to achieve? Building a relationship, so what. It won't change the company or it's thinking, goals or personnel.

We will see Soul . Trying to develop relationship and from meeting with the board again I felt went a long way to developing relationship which I feel is the way you have to go with all stakeholders .

Won't change a thing bigglesbingham. You have already shown the management you are a bunch of individuals when it comes down to it on more than one occasion.
So if you think you have something push the company to do right in appointing a new Chairman.

Not after them quaking pal, after them embracing and acknowledging . Not trying to be controversial trying to develop relationships without cynicism. Just shareholders and board with an understanding of each others goals. First we need to assess facts one being how many shares are accountable by members of the board.

Tennis nov plas will add another 50 m I reckon so we will be nearing 20%. I think the company, PR com has to take notice of comments on this board made by over 20% of their shareholders.
