08/1/2024 12:30 | We have Thanksamillion to thank for the end of year quiz. If anyone is interested, may I suggest another one (which can run concurrently). It would just give us something of interest a bit earlier in the year. We all have said that Ariana will finish above 3p in 2024. My quiz is: on what date this year will Ariana's bid price at the end of the day finish above 3.0p for the first time. My guess is June 3rd. If there is no interest, I am not offended. | ![]() jaf1948

08/1/2024 08:29 | Nominees are just an accumulation of PIs. I don't think it's right that they're included in lists of significant holdings because they have neither beneficial ownership nor voting rights. | zangdook

07/1/2024 14:26 | Recently posted Ariana Resources plc @ArianaResources Dec 31, 2023 It takes 15 years, on average, from drilling a project to first production from a gold mine. Several projects in Turkey average well over 20 years. It takes patience and skill to develop a mine. We have done it once and we will do it again. | ![]() xow98

07/1/2024 13:51 | I seem to recall few years back AAU/Kerim presented a chart (Link to similar below) showing the Life cycle of a typical junior miner. Maybe he was trying warn us on the prospects for the share price between then and now. Added production next year would imply the recovery is due anytime now. | ![]() thanksamillion
07/1/2024 13:40 | We need more volume, which has been missing, barely breaking above the 30 day average and generally only on down days. Needs some significant news which attracts new investors. This group owns 23%, the BoD and Newmont own a further 13%, so 36% should be in fairly sticky hands. Also 3 Nominee companies which hold 10%. Won't take much to get the price to move, but they need to get the news out to a wider audience, not just those that are already invested/interested. | ![]() xow98
07/1/2024 12:44 | I am no chartist Plasybryn but in the absence of any unexpected bad news, I would say the bottom is in and anticipating better news down the line. Of course how fast we start to move north depends on the constant selling drying up and also good and timely news following through with no more delays or hiccups. I would hope that in interviews going forward the company at least acknowledges the need for shareholder value. | ![]() soulsauce
07/1/2024 12:41 | We have had three years of a consistently falling share price. If the company continues in the same way, then so will the share price. So what has to happen for the share price to rise ? End of large seller / sellers ? Unlikely IMO in the short term as there are still many investors out there who are well down on their purchase and are looking to get out. Rise in price of gold ? Has played little part in the rise (or fall) of the share price up to now. Proactive marketing ? I'll believe it when it happens News that adds immediately to the bottom line ? Probable with Tavsan and possible from some of the other irons in the fire. I'm sure other people could add to that list but it starts to paint a picture. | ![]() jaf1948
07/1/2024 12:27 | Thanks soulsauce & renniks for your expanded observations which I fully endorse and appreciate. It doesn't seem like we are going to have wait that long for meaningful news, which could see the start of a solid re-rate, even in the first half of 2024. I'm no chartist, but I think the charts are starting to anticipate that. But we need a bit more gain to see the 200 day Moving average broken and ideally then the 20 & 50 day Moving averages move above the 200 day. That would signify a 'golden cross" and would suggest the 3 year decline is finally dead meat. I would welcome the thoughts of any "experts" on this aspect. Once investors see that trigger point, it is likely in my opinion that we will see a lot more buying. Like them or loath them, Charts do bring in buyers when buying signals are created. All in my opinion. Good luck. | ![]() plasybryn
