It would be worth going to the AGM just to see the whites of their eyes and observe the body language. Unfortunately I can't make it this year but would greatly appreciate someone reporting back

You'll get an update in September and be grateful for it.

Seemed a reasonable timescale to me, but then I'm naturally optimistic! And handsome too :-D

Shortarm, Soul. Agree with all of your points to be fair. But from distant memory there were few days when there weren't half a dozen posts on there. Somehow this board managed to survive the recent sudden outbreak of t*ats it recently experienced. But the lack of excitement remains, and only newsflow can change that.

The lse site has never had the volume of this BB but it has never been as dead as it is now.

The LSE board has never had any volume! Mainly due to the trump lover/hater non PC banter....

They know how wide it is and where it is, go straight down and see how deep as well as good for block mapping. Nice squares :-)

Same reason that there hasn't been a post on the LSE board since the 8th June, a board that used to be as dynamic as this with a great interchange between posters. LTHs aren't all selling but feel disillusioned and just can't justify the expense and effort of a trip to London at the height of summer. When I used to go I felt excited by this company. Now it's subtlety different, in fact maybe not subtlety, the time horizon for anything actually happening now seems to continuously expand into the far distance. I'd rather catch up on the laptop with a cold beer.

i consider it a good thing - angled means searching for it - to me. vertical means conviction and just proving it.

over the last few news i am missing word leopard. and i liked a word partnership instead of the JV.

Out of interest and being a "nerd", I note from yesterday's RNS that of the drilling in the Ardala and Salinbas areas, 13 holes were "angled" with the rest drilled "vertically". I remember asking once the thinking behind angled drilling and the obvious reply was you get a wide spread of data. So I wonder why the Co. has done so much vertical drilling here?

Not shunned but logistically no good and work commitment prevent me going.

Not this year. That's why I've been trying to encourage others to go. I can only think people don't realise what a good event it is to meet the Co. Perhaps the best opportunity you will get.

Doesn't sound like there is much enthusiasm to attend the AGM. Not sure even one person said they would attend which is such a shame. This is the best opportunity to hear the latest presentation, meet the Directors and have a two way exchange. Wonder why it is shunned?

Well one bright spot - usually an Ariana announcement ends with a red day and the share price down. The share price didn't really go anywhere today, but at least it was not down!

Not a chance JD. If they can start producing by the end of the decade from Salinbas I would be surprised.
Hopefully Ariana’s share will get sold long before then.

I'm sure this will irritate some, but while the RNS was welcome it feels like more of the same. More holes drilled, more good if not spectacular results. More being drilled. I seem to have read the same RNS from Eastern Turkey for 7 years. What I want, and maybe some if not all will agree, is a plan how this will advance towards production and a realistic estimate of when that will be achieved. The slides in the background last Monday still showed Salinbas/ Ardala production commencing Q1 2026. Really? The presentation is for the benefit of investors/ prospective investors. Does anyone believe that date?

This is from share price Angel today:-Ariana Resources (AAU LN) 2.45p, Mkt Cap £28m – Drilling results from Salinbas, TurkeyAriana Resources has released drilling results from its continuing exploration programme at its 23.5% owned Salinbas project in NE Turkey where it is investigating mineralisation associated with the Ardala porphyry. The results include an intersection of 461.8m at an average grade of 0.22% copper, 0.23g/t gold and 155ppm molybdenum from a depth of 283.5m in hole ARD-068 which is described as "the deepest hole drilled into the Ardala Porphyry to date".Based on the depths quoted, it appears that hole ARD-068 was terminated in mineralisation.Hole ARD-066 intersected 8.2m at an average grade of 0.95g/t gold, 22.41g/t silver1.27% copper and 9ppm molybdenum from a depth of 46.6m in a zone described as "contact mineralisation ... on the periphery of the Ardala porphyry" with the hole including a higher grade section of 0.3m at an average grade of 12.92% copper from 52.9m depth. The company says that "Infill drilling within the Salinbas resource area progressing well, with best results to date including:12.8m @ 1.34g/t Au + 3.3g/t Ag [Hole SALH-087]10.7m @ 1.19g/t Au + 16.5g/t Ag [Hole SALH-077]5.8m @ 1.43g/t Au + 25.0g/t Ag [Hole ARD-065]The company confirms that it has now completed more than 12,000m of drilling on the project since late 2021 and that there are currently two drilling rigs in operation, including one at Hizarliyayla.Managing Director, Dr. Kerim Sener, said that "We have now confirmed the presence of a significantly gold-rich core to the Ardala Porphyry system in the deepest and one of the most well-mineralised holes drilled on the project to date, yielding almost half a kilometre of continuous copper, gold and molybdenum mineralisation".He said that "We are now about halfway through a substantially expanded drilling programme which allows for up to 22,000m of drilling" and that "Drilling also remains underway at Hizarliyayla using a second drill-rig and the initial results of this drilling will be reported on separately from this release".Dr. Sener also explained that although the results reaffirm "the high prospectivity of the area ... [and show that] ... our understanding of the overall potential is only just beginning".Conclusion: Drilling at Salinbas, including the deepest hole yet drilled on the Ardala porphyry, is beginning to show the exploration potential. We look forward to further results as the current drilling programme, now about half completed, continues.
