As for Apliki/Venus, why not just get on with it? They say waiting for favourable conditions. But why? They don't give a hoot about the AAU share price, so why would it matter with Venus if it looked to be out of favour in the current markets. There has to be more to this (unsurprisingly) than meets the eye!!

The shareprice is where it is because on many fronts the projects have stalled, I expect them to reignite hence I've added I try nd look ahead albeit sometimes difficult , everyone makes mistakes trick is making sure they aren't repeated. This sentiment has actually guided strategy as discussed by KS today. My rationale for investment is do I believe this will give me better returns of the medium term plus risk premium than. Deposit , I'm sure it will.

Shorters radar for the last 2yrs more likely dixi.
It was a moronic statement and it's not the first shoot through your foot moment.
Unfortunately that doesn't stand up bigglesbingham because traders wouldn't have taken the time to be involved in such a presentation 😕

biggles,

However you try to explain it, it reinforces my opinion that the Board are experts at Geology and very poor at running a company which was one of the main reasons why I sold out last year. If they could not see how offensive that comment was, they really should not be in charge of a public company.

Do they really think this is going to be on a traders radar? And so what if it is, that is no justification for a rubbish share price.

This morning, I moved £10,000 into my share dealing account planning to buy back into Ariana if today's Q&A was encouraging and if they answered my question.

Question 5 was mine: 'In the final results for 2022 RNS, you use the phrase 'Shareholder value has been enhanced' although the share price has almost halved since the start of that year. How do you reconcile that statement in the light of the share price ?'

When I read the Share price = wanting to make a quick buck reply, I withdrew my planned investment.

Well I am glad you got something out of it bigglesbingham.
What reaffirmation did we get that they are 100% behind Ariana apart from words and that they always wear the shirt 🤔

They always wear the shirt that seals it for me then 🙄

I have seen a few improvements , the presentation took on a different format which was more engaging, I thought MDV guided KS well. to address strategy, salinbas in the written answers they accept the interviews need looking at, they've added a broker. I'm not expecting them to do handstands and come out singing and dancing I want them to acknowledge the discontent and I'm getting the impression that they are. Many of my points were subtly answered. What I got was reaffirmation that they are 100% behind Ariana and they are putting everything into it. They have the expertise so I will await progress. Australia is the logical progression here and I wonder if panther metals is the prize KS will know about it inside out and their discovery was mentioned.

Left a sour taste that remark dixi. I don't think anyone here can be accused of wanting to make a quick buck. If we did we wouldn't chose Ariana.

Share price = wanting to make a quick buck. Share price is not a concern to the company. At least we know!

But none of what was said today bigglesbingham answers your concerns of your post 18250 about putting shareholders and shareholders concerns firmly on the agenda or getting their heads around the fact that shareholders are here to make money and the need to facilitate that.
In fact it was quite excruciating, once again, to see Kerim with his diagram of selected companies trying to explain the fall. He had to find something else other than the gold price of course.
But little changed from past Q&As and I see nothing to say anything will have changed after today so the things you were getting upset about still very much exist.
The main points are that Cyprus is still on gardening leave and Tavsan just got further away from production as we learn forestry are involved in the suspension.

I missed a lot of it but...if interviews are boring and KS can see that, presumably he knows what would be interesting for us, why not dispense with the interviewer and just give us a straightforward talk to camera?

I liked the new format the more said the more gleaned. I do believe a major development around the corner in Australia but that's my gut. Honest answers re assay testing re problems. Genuinely believe they breathe Ariana there is a an situation whereby several projects are waiting on others which is short term frustrating but affords opportunity to add subject to funds. Excellent debt feee position , Kosovo positive, not thinking of decommissioning. Didn't agree that aim stocks don't thrive on rnss although could be argued people sell into good news if the hold a lot of stock. I do believe he's very positive on panthers find in Australia as it was mentioned. Questions raised as to interviews being boring were acknowledged and the new format I liked so credit where credit due. Some won't like the fact nothing really new but that to be expected.

Everything just sounds such a long way out and subject to all the possible pitfalls along the way. Entirely my own fault, but at my age this is probably no longer a wise investment. It's a slow haul with little reward thus far.

There are no plans to decommission Kiziltepe given the broader exploration potential
of the region and it is the intention of the partners to keep the plant running for as
long as economically possible.

I view AAU as an investment Co and selling our services to our partners. AM I right. If so - are we expecting any new capital markets action and do we earn good money by selling our services - to our companies...
