21/2/2023 09:05 | Soul dont be silly. Semantics. We all know the 2 mines. | actonovator
21/2/2023 09:03 | It looks as though we have 3 immediate problems here in the way of share price progress. 1. The gold price struggling to break and hold $1900. 2. The awful events in Turkey, prompting selling on the mistaken belief we are affected. 3. The lack of information from the BoD. With extra production coming on stream soon and the above three solved then we'll make progress towards the 6p level and beyond. | different world
21/2/2023 09:00 | Well kiziltepe has been on line since 2017. Maybe Tnt99 could clarify. | soulsauce
21/2/2023 08:54 | Surely this refers to Kizltepe and Tavsan? | dixi
21/2/2023 08:13 | Tnt99 what are the 'two' mines coming on stream soon? | soulsauce
21/2/2023 07:56 | Hope so, we are really overdue some relief here! | dixi
21/2/2023 07:36 | Two mines coming on stream soon Should be a bouncer year | tnt99
20/2/2023 23:03 | Why do you think Kiziltepe production is being increased this year? | charles clore
20/2/2023 22:40 | The filter button is a wonderful thing | xow98
20/2/2023 18:35 | Well put soulsauce. | different world
20/2/2023 18:25 | Correct pharm. Not a direct result of the earthquake but from the potential fall out to come. We know from the attempted coup several years ago that there has been an uneasy peace with Erdoğan. But as you say it's not made any easier by our resplendent BoD continuing to be so aloof and not having a scooby doo regarding shareholder accountability. | soulsauce
20/2/2023 17:16 | Xow, not selling my 15M I'm afraid so you will just have to put up with me not being as miserable as you fellas - apologies in advance x | shortarm
20/2/2023 17:15 | I agree with you different world and the knock on effect this terrible tragedy has in terms of the future stability of Turkey and its government. Whatever we think of Erdogan, uncertainty is never good for any share price and his recent failings over acting quickly and decisively to get aid to the earthquake region means he is likely to lose the election coming up in July of this year. At the very least, political uncertainty until then will worry many investors. Of course, the deafening silence from the Ariana BOD since the earthquake has done nothing to help matters. | pharmoutcomeszzz
20/2/2023 17:01 | Poor not more. Sorry | plasybryn
20/2/2023 16:54 | The strategic decision to sell out, (sell down to 23.5%) diversify, supposedly reduce risk and supposedly accelerate growth is looking day by day like a very poor decision. The Co. seems to have gone backwards since. Who should we regards as accountable? Who on the Board will address these concerns? Are we now staring at fundamental Board changes? If they are incapable of delivering shareholder value I would suggest we are. | plasybryn
20/2/2023 16:14 | I still believe most of the selling is from those who think we have been affected by the terrible quake. | different world
20/2/2023 15:52 | I'm in no rush. This is a long-term term hold, not a get rich quick scheme. I bought into this company knowing exactly what to expect from small miners and explorers, and quite honestly, Kerim was head and shoulders above the rest of them at the time. Since then, he has taken the company from almost broke to a producing miner with some partners who have some impressive clout. I believe there are even more rabbits to come out of the hat yet. Be patient, ride the ups and downs and have faith. We will be rewarded, imho. | charles clore
20/2/2023 15:48 | Please do Shortarm | xow98
20/2/2023 15:38 | It's a badge of honour JD ;-) Let the moron keep paying the fee to be able to do it and spend lots of time looking in. | soulsauce
20/2/2023 15:37 | Hurray, it's time to change the BoD!Now I'm thinking about selling lol | shortarm
20/2/2023 15:26 | I stopped averaging down at 3.6 in June. Won't be buying anymore until there is significant news or we change the BoD. | xow98
20/2/2023 15:24 | Wow Soul, I've made it to the select thumbs down club. I can hardly disguise my happiness. I must be being 'edgy'. | jaynesdad
20/2/2023 15:20 | Shortarm I've averaged down. Several times recently. But not any more, I'm not chasing this lower and lower. Who in their right mind would? So you tell me where the next buyer is going to come from unless we get some positive announcements from the company? | jaynesdad
20/2/2023 15:15 | Hi Konil I wasn't being funny about the 8 Million, its just that when the deal was struck the $:£ exchange rate was about 1.3:1. That makes a material difference to the amounts received for the rights given up as part of the JV. We shareholders got a poor deal. To me the occasional flaring up of these arguments on this chat site reinforces what many of us think. The AAU Board is not strong enough, dare I say not fit for purpose, to run this business It has to be reinforced by some proper hard nosed businessmen. The share price is near a 3 year low and it is currently still declining. I can only speak for myself but I am concerned to put it mildly. Pretty soon those of us who have been averaging down will call time until the bottom is evidenced to have been reached. And if that happens with a share register largely comprising of a handful of PI investors each day then where is the support preventing even further declines? | jaynesdad
20/2/2023 15:07 | Apart from Turkey being a basket case before the earthquake and now it's in dire straits. I remember it being a steal at 5p and 4p oh and 3p. It isn't going to go up until new PIs are tempted in to replace the long termers being bored out of this and being exasperated at the way the company operates. | soulsauce |
