01/4/2022 07:33 | Our market is PIs only renniks. And the fault for people not getting it is 🤔 | soulsauce
01/4/2022 07:24 | IMHO The market and PI's simply not getting the value of multiple projects, in particularly Cyprus, (near term) Salinbas (longer term) I am expecting Venus IPO to be valued at £10m for 50%, and that still could be conservative, I know only time and others will tell, but with 89mt cu at .8% say, I dont think this unrealistic. Salinbas will be enormous, simples. | renniks2016
01/4/2022 06:26 | further to post 10875... aau have renewed their data licence agreement with newmont, with revised terms to account for lower interest in turkey. this much is stated in rns 24 march 2022. reading between the lines, imo newmont's regional database covers a wider geographical area beyond turkey and the purpose of this latest agreement was not only to extend the data licence agreement from 2023 to march 2031, but also for aau to gain access to newmont's regional database which goes beyond the previous agreement which only covered newmont's turkish database. aau could confirm or contradict. to repeat the point in my earlier post, imo this is possibly a step in ks's stated aim of achieving '10x in 10 years'. what i do not like is the way the deal has been structured, creating dilution now and leaving the door open for further dilution later, at a time when aau have $millions cash. it may work out in a very big way if ks and his team's expertise when applied to the expanded database results in good finds - the jury on that will be out for a minimum of 5 years and maybe much longer - not good, not bad - just saying. we know mining is a long term game. re. the nsr terms related to this latest deal, imo they only apply to revenues resultant from projects born from the regional database i.e. none of aau's existing assets some of which already have their own nsr terms. aau could confirm or contradict. its all long term stuff - not surprised the market is not excited. what is surprising is how poorly the market has priced the nearer term projects, but we have already covered that point a gazillion times, no harm in repeating though! | konil
31/3/2022 21:17 | IChronical As ESG concerns ramp up globally and governments look for bigger returns from mines, major operators are still looking closely at Europe. "Unlike trying to develop an exploration opportunity or a mine in the middle of Africa, there are distinct advantages to being able to develop mining operations on the doorstep of industrial facilities that require these sorts of commodities, particularly in the case of copper," said Kerim Sener, whose company Ariana Resources (AAU) has just signed a Balkan-focused exploration deal with gold major Newmont (US:NEM). Sener has form in this area, or more specifically in the West Tethyan mineral belt stretching from Iran to Europe: Ariana has brought a new gold mine into production in Turkey in recent years with local partners, and has a stake in a similar venture in Cyprus. Sener said exploration data in the former Yugoslav republics was good quality but largely ignored since the late 1970s."There is a real exploration opportunity that is created as a result of that gap in knowledge," he said. | renniks2016
31/3/2022 20:43 | Indeed we do Plasybryn, but unfortunately too many are happy to put up with the status quo for Kerim needing to think he should change and the very reason I am looking to off load some at the right time if we manage to scrabble back above 4p. | soulsauce
31/3/2022 20:29 | Yellow Jersey tweeted this this evening:- Coverage of mining client ArianaResources (AIM: #AAU) in IChronicle following its recent partnership with Newmont Corporation. | plasybryn
31/3/2022 20:28 | I suspect most of the trades today were buys by shareholders spending there Divi's I know Mine at 0.38 was | trevor1234
31/3/2022 20:23 | Thanks soulsauce. I believe we both have the best interests of the Co to the fore, but the failings and weaknesses have become so pronounced that somehow they need to be addressed, if value is to be realised. | plasybryn
31/3/2022 20:20 | Last year Kerim was interviewed by a journalist and amazingly stated that his vision was to grow the Co ten fold to £500m Market Cap by the end of the decade. I could live with that, what he needs to do is articulate the strategy, the milestones, at least in part, as to how this will be accomplished. That would excite investors and start to embody the Ariana with Attitude mandate. Don't tell me Kerim has got some sort of long term plan. At the moment all we have is cash in a bank account loosing value due to inflation with no communication to make the new strategy come alive. | plasybryn
31/3/2022 20:18 | Three excellent posts Plasybryn. Couldn't agree more.👏Ԁ | soulsauce
31/3/2022 19:59 | The key to a more progressive and inclusive future for me is simple. Reduce Kerim's strangle hold over the Co. Strengthen the Board with missing skills, so it is also run more democratically and professionally. You could say we also need a new Non Executive Director to represent shareholders interests. I don't get the impression that Michael has any sway over the way matters are conducted and clearly the other two part timers are there to toe the party line. Shareholders somehow need to demand change. | plasybryn
31/3/2022 18:14 | Still too many to have me wanting to pull what remaining hair I have out of my head at times Charles 😏 It's been clear to me for a while, and some others I think, that Kerim wants to keep this off the radar for whatever reason hence the way it is run, unwillingness to change and lack of promotion. Like Plasybryn I will wait to see what happens with the Q&A but I doubt anything will be taken on board. | soulsauce
31/3/2022 17:38 | I'd never criticise anyone for taking a profit so keep selling lads. I'm buying into weakness here but don't know how long this opportunity can last. Soul, you can't be holding that many more surely? | charles clore
31/3/2022 17:29 | Perhaps the NomAd is preventing such forward looking statements being made? | charles clore
31/3/2022 17:11 | I am not so much negative about Ariana as disappointed in the way it is run - if I were just negative I would have sold out by now. Take two sentences: 1. Ariana has set up a JV with ABC company for $x million. We have had statement like that and they generate no public interest and have little, or even negative, effect on the share price. Consider this sentence: 2. Ariana has set up a JV with ABC company for $x million which, on current projections, should generate $y EBITDA in the 5 years 2023-7. Ariana must have those those figures so why not put them in the public domain and let the market understand what is going on in the company. Unfortunately, we get the first type of statement. What we need, IMO, is the second type. | jaf1948
31/3/2022 16:29 | There is a tweet from Liane biggles re' Wishbone. Nothing we didn't really already know but can't see anything else to make it move? Fingers crossed there. Yes I see better value elsewhere m8. As you know I am not happy with there being no short term investments here with the money pile and no changes to how they operate, or don't. I am still keeping a good holding, for me, but would like to top up on some of my others. Each to their own as they say. | soulsauce
31/3/2022 16:29 | Don't think so BB, a couple of new TR-1's on scene, PNT doing well in WA, makes it very oversold, not much stock about results in quick step up on low volume, I have picked up quite a few of these over the last few months. | renniks2016
31/3/2022 16:25 | What's happening a palm 17% up today hmmm leaky news let's see tomorrow | bigglesbingham
31/3/2022 16:23 | Once the board let their guard down it was clear without those raises we wouldn't be here today. Suppose that why I'm so relaxed the position now is a different planet than it was then. Sorry to hear your looking at selling some down above 4p still think it's way undervalued. | bigglesbingham
31/3/2022 16:19 | Yes and then we went from the frying pan to the fire with Beaufort biggles. Oh what a merry time we have had but we got there in the end. It was funny while I was checking back for the original Newmont deal I noticed it said that we were still very much on track for production from RR in 2014 ;-) Tavsan is RR all over again but even later. | soulsauce
31/3/2022 16:08 | Lanstead were rogues with bad rep. Don't think we can put newmont in that category. As to shorting to buy in I would worry about that much more if it was an institution those boys cannot be trusted. | bigglesbingham
31/3/2022 15:45 | renniks read my last post, I am trying to sell some above 4p, not acquire. | soulsauce
31/3/2022 15:42 | In KS's interview with Proactive he states that the database for E EU would have cost 20m to gather, with from my under standing is where the value is to WTR, use of Turkish data base extended, NSR in turkey reduced to .235% inline with AAU holding of kizl. Do not see why they would sell down the newly acquired shares any time soon, yes of course they could, but even at a 2 bagger it would be peanuts to them to do, 10x yes maybe. Sounds like some on here trying to pinch a few on the cheap! ;) | renniks2016 |
