Overdue and maybe a little too late bigglesbingham.
Let's hope they realise what is needed going forward and maybe get another member on the BoD who knows how to appeal to shareholders.

The clue was in the title, it was production guidance for 2022 & that's all, there was no meaningful updates on delays on other projects. Poor, and not very professional.

In this climate I've no problem with being cautious about investing. I'm confident we will get an update shortly. Yes it is overdue.

Great posts zedder and Plasybryn.

Yes they have lost the audience but I don't think they care one jot or they would attempt to do something about it.
Remember their audience is PIs.

zedder the morphing into 3 payments was for tax savings which was never clearly explained, like a lot of other things that happen here.

Also at the bottom of the rns it states new investments will be through Asgard so still no use for the money pile other than sitting in a bank somewhere 😏

Let's face it - as soon as we read the RNS this morning, full of good news and good information, we knew how the day was going to pan out. KS considers issuing the RNS as 'job done' whereas the rest of us know that without corresponding PR and communications, the RNS was going to die a death.

And so it came to pass.....

Look at the bottom of the RNS and it doesn't even confirm they have the EIA for Tavsan, which has been announced or did I dream it? Sloppy and lacking in excitement from a complacent Board, at least as far as shareholders are concerned, comes to mind. If only a really strong group of shareholders would get their act together and really tackle these issues head on with the Board at the forthcoming AGM. They need to be challenged. Otherwise it just gets swept under the carpet as another irrelevant shareholder.

What a totally damp squib reaction to what should have been received as a good news RNS. I think the Board really have lost the audience. It all started with the Special Dividend debacle. Investors were led to believe that this would be a one off of 0.7p. This morphed into a plan to chunk it into 3 payments. If the companies plan is that these 3 dividends then lead into a regular dividend policy, then clearly us PIs are not buying it until we see it VERY clearly spelt out in black and white. The Board really do need to get a grip on their communication.

Their cash costs have averaged below $600 lots of factors to take into account for the AISC i agree but we can agree both these mines will be throwing of plenty of cash.

Yes I don't know why there isn't more mentioned in the RNS about the two most important projects for near term growth, just to create some sort of excitement if nothing else!

The continued regular dividend seems even more affordable. Buy now for a 9% divi and possible capital growth.

I hope if Kerim surfaces to do an interview later that he is asked more questions than just commenting on today's news. Like what is happening with Apliki and Tavsan.

At least AAZ seems to be more than the hobby of a clever geologist.

this really is very similar to AAZ - investors not interested so much in current projects - want confirmation of new projects

That's my thinking, they do like to release a flurry of news. The two new mines are tantalisingly close...

Great read. Digging deeper, Venus gets its mention, but not the anticipated IPO. Could that imply additional news is in the offing?

25,000 target and we know it's always conservative. 6000oz attributable to AAU at circa $600 cost looks to be very profitable, and the same or more again at Tavsan and the market cap goes out the window.
