Once again we see a gold company valued at less once it is in production than when it was mainly in the development phase. On top of that, when we finally get a big increase in the spot PoG it merely stagnates.I will not be reinvesting the dividend back into AAU (at least initially) only because the general drop in the market due to Ukraine and pre-existing underlying inflationary trends are throwing up opportunities elsewhere.trendsconditions

Happy to hold, won't be re investing dividend, was expecting some second mine construction news and Venus IPO by now......Someone should have provided some realistic updates. Share price will continue to stagnate until there is some transparency.

I first bought in September through o November 2010 at an average of 4.1pI also bought a load under a penny in 2014 to Jan 2016....

The share price when I first bought in in 2007 or so was 7.7p, not a good investment at all, with all the patience in the world.

Paul280i,Yes, there was good reason to be optimistic about the company then and people bought into the prospects.Now, we have the deals, we have the cash, and with no guidance from the company, we have an apathetic share price. Where is the incentive to buy or even hold ?

JAF, the share price on 25th March 2020 was 2.49p, not such a bad investment if you have patience.

Third part will be in September, by then we will be on our way to a 2nd and third gold mine and a mega low capex copper mine in a new jurisdiction!

The third part of the 'special' dividend will be paid on March 25th. The share price on March 25th 2021 was 4.7p, the three dividends come to 0.525p and the current mid share price is 3.85p.

Does that look like a great investment ?

Why would he want the share price higher? Err, because of his statutory duty to act in the best interests of the company and its shareholders?

Soul - at risk of repeating myself here but why would Kerim want the share price higher? The company has a lovely producing asset with a seemingly elastic mine life that just keeps giving, plus loads of cash and doesn't need to raise in the market. The bod have their options and if they want more money they can issue more and a dividend every couple of years to keep the wolves from the door. With Kerim at the helm this is a well-run, safe company. He doesn't care what the share price is, why on earth should he? It's irrelevant to him. We're not going to make a fortune but neither will we lose. With all of the assets under development I feel comfortable and any one of them could send the price soaring. Take the nickel in Oz for example, or Salinas.

Could we not go after a nice producing asset, use a chuck of cash and some nice institutional money to help it along?! That would change the game here...

Of course the other way is for PG to do their job and get some institutional interest but we all know that was a fanciful Kerim statement as well.
