01/2/2022 13:59 | There are a few annoyances Soul, I agree, but AAU normally eventually come up smelling of roses. The JV means we might have to wait longer for Turkey asset progress but Salinbas has a more money available. Being a Yorkshireman you'll just have to learn patience ;) | ![]() temujiin
01/2/2022 13:35 | Ahh if only my disappointment was just limited to the slow progress of Ozaltin Temujiin 😏 | ![]() soulsauce
01/2/2022 13:28 | Hi 8rad, yes I remember you were one of the few others that weren't overly enthusiastic about the JV. Obv the JV cash has given AAU the financial ability to diversify and I still rate AAU a good company to have 800k shares in, but like Soul and others I'm disappointed at the slow progress of Ozaltin whilst they enjoy 53% of Kizil. Venus looks exciting though. | ![]() temujiin

01/2/2022 10:52 | Our MCap is now less then the value of the % of proven gold we own in the ground at Kizil! Amazing. So buy today and get Tavsan free, Venus free, Panther free, WTR free, Pallasade Resources free, and the one which will be multiple times bigger than all put together Salinbas, oh yes that's free too! Some institutions must pick up on this soon, they already have a massively discounted entry point at todays prices, surely. Imho | ![]() renniks2016

01/2/2022 07:45 | "Reporting is based on a 0.75 and 1g/t Au economic cut-off grade for alteration halos and veins, respectively." that is very fair. they also tell us, they know exactly where the vein is - so not a lot of "low grade soft ore" gets into the process - hugely increasing the economics. I am half down the superb report - but metrics are g/t, total reserve, life of mine in years .... have to meet the dollars or NPV .... eagerly awaiting it | ![]() kaos3
01/2/2022 07:39 | The options were given well before ozaltin deal. My personal view SS is that some historic mining jurisdictions reduce foreign ownership to say below 50% I think the move derisked Ariana in this regard as we obviously have reduced to 23.5%. I can't see Turkish gov eliminating foreign ownership of Turkish mine completely , it wouldn't make sense but reducing the percentage held is a possibility albeit slim. The above being said I believe the new JV to be excellent for Ariana and allowed us to expand into other jurisdictions , be self supporting and it's got excellent business model which I understand and agree with; developing many projects where we have a holding and the work is carried out by other competent companies , like sandstorm royalties model but on steroids because holdings are much greater. | ![]() bigglesbingham
01/2/2022 07:28 | The rns shows excellent result. If you think about the declaration or additional mine life is like declaring a new mine apart from the small fact it's already operating and running like a dream. If another company declared a gold mine potential prospect similar to this as an exploration find but had yet to build the mine you'd see a significant share price increase. We've got the mine with extended life but there is a constant seller out there who's matching buys; and until they have sold up the shareprice will remain relatively suppressed but once cleared there will a sharp increase to bring in line with fundamentals. Great results again hope they are replicated at salinbas and tarsvan. Well done Zac particularly one of the most enthusiastic geologists I have come across. He couldnt contain himself when I had lunch with him at kizeltepe when describing the salibas project potential albeit three years ago now, how time flies. | ![]() bigglesbingham
01/2/2022 07:25 | Cheers Temujiin. Yes positive news today. Hopefully get us back above 4p. | ![]() soulsauce
01/2/2022 07:20 | Sorry to hear it's bugged you for so long SS but don't worry about it. I'm quite a thick skinned poster that doesn't worry about calling people out if they post nonsense, troll or de-ramp. The JV deal should have been a heated discussion over it's merits, which I thought favoured keeping the mine, but as I've said, it still left AAU in a strong position and I like the Venus project, although feel they should have used the cash to buy them out completely and drive it forward. Anyways, lets leave it there. On another note it's good to see todays Kiziltepe RESOURCE AND RESERVE UPDATE: 19% Increase in Total Resources It's unlikely to affect the share price much but it's still a positive. | ![]() temujiin
01/2/2022 07:11 | Always more gold at Kiziltepe! Don't know what percentage of veins they have drill now but a couple of years ago it was less than ten percent!Plenty left I reckon! | ![]() shortarm
01/2/2022 07:08 | Nice work, and a very strong announcement. If this doesn't put a fire under the share price I'm not sure anything will! | ![]() nov31
31/1/2022 23:22 | Much appreciated Temujiin. You are right and I was guilty of doing what others have done to me in the past on this and other forums in shutting down an opposing view and I should have known better. It has been bugging me for a while and the longer things have gone on I felt you were right with many of your sentiments towards the Ozaltin deal. I have often questioned what Kerim has done in the past as being in shareholders best interests but this time I actually thought he had a plan for the money which would make Ariana stronger as well as put some money in our pockets instead of just their's through cheeky bonuses and options. Maybe he still does have a plan but what I have seen so far has not been worthwhile in relinquishing a large chunk of our asset to Ozaltin. Communication and pr has never been the company's strong point but since the JV it has deteriorated further imo. Anyway I could go on but I am glad to finally make this apology to you and I am glad you have been gracious enough to accept it. I am from Yorkshire and call a spade a shovel but I am also big enough to call myself out when I am wrong. Atb. | ![]() soulsauce
31/1/2022 22:15 | It has come to the point where I feel I must apologise profusely to Temujiin. ============== Well I didn't see that coming Soul! My problem with you, and one or five vocal others, wasn't your views about the deal, which were entirely valid as there were pro's and con's both ways, it was the attempt to shut down an opposing view, even if it was a very minority view. As long as people have views which they can express logically and politely, then it's an asset to any BB discussion imo. As for the deal, it wasn't my preferred choice as many will remember, but there are positives....cash in hand and diversification. I personally feel the dividend was too much and as you say, management haven't used the cash available, although that option is still available. Sadly though, Ozaltin do appear to be the sloths I feared they may be. I will accept your apology in the spirt it is made, though TBH, as it's so long ago I'm surprised you even thought about it. Water under the bridge as they say. | ![]() temujiin
31/1/2022 17:50 | Agreed, not much point unless they can get it out. | ![]() konil
31/1/2022 17:19 | Xow I am not sure any tax breaks are worth keeping their (our) money in the increasingly failed economy of Turkey 🤔. Same thing konil what is the point lowering political risk to a country when the money gained is still invested there. | ![]() soulsauce |
